They're divorced. Nothing romantic between them. But I understand what you mean, she needs to go, but that won't fix anything. She's eventually gonna be back. A more permanent solution is Abhimanyu realizing the extent to which she is involved in his life and taking a step back, reassessing, and moving out.

Children don't need to live with their parents their entire life to take care of them. They should move out at least before they are about to marry someone.
