Our leads are foolish and the villians of everyone's life
Interestingly Anupama online fans arent too pleased either. I once read their posts to see what makes it remain on top. It is actually hilarious, I read it now for fun. People are frustrated there too with the repeat ,rinse and sudden white washing. I think they have built a loyal audience base, so no matter what, they get their TRP.
WTHA, havent watched it but have been hearing good things about it. Strange how everything good has been put into this show even though rating has not moved for months. Their online rating used to be good, even that is not where it used to be.
Yrkkh on the contrary has mostly maintained the top 5 position irrespective of the story line or poor execution mainly because of the legacy viewers. You wouldnt think PH would neglect any of their shows, but somehow you feel this show has been getting the least love and care since the wedding of the year.
Season 3 when it started, story was run of the mill but the way it was presented and the stellar cast (mostly) made it an interesting watch. Not having watched previous seasons, my first reaction was this PH knew the formula for success. They maintained the same standards till confession. Yes there were gaps but the story coupled with the crackling chemistry between the leads kept us interested and excited.
Unsure what transpired post confession, things just went hay wire. Yes they tried new tracks but due to poor writing and execution(coupled with ipl and OTT), none of the tracks were able to bring in new viewers and they ended up jumping to new tracks without proper closure. No/lack of promotion made no sense and didnt help either.
With rival channels revamping and bringing in new shows, I think SP are forcing all shows to take leaps and bring in loads of drama. Looks to be making a difference. Anupama is touching 3.0(no leap yet there but apparently on the horizon), closely followed by ghum. Yeh rishta has finally had decent jump in ratings. Dont know if the increase is because it is abhira centric, or curiosity or TRP audience just love to see female leads suffering. Time will tell. Question is how long are willing to put up with this crap😂
