I actually really liked that dialogue of Neil - when Abhimanyu told him to wait/hold his questions for a calmer time, Neil was like nope, "aaj main aap hoon, sawal bhi main poochunga aur jawab bhi main mango ga". Abhimanyu never backs down even when his opponent/the one he's questioning is distressed, for example, Akshara was crying and asking Abhimanyu to calm down when he found out about the accident because she couldn't handle his yelling and wanted a chance to talk but he just gave his ultimatum and left. I don't blame him, they almost killed his mother so
It's also a fun to watch because it's putting Abhimanyu in a situation we've typically seen Akshara in - loyally defending someone when they're wrong (Aarohi/Manjari) and being shut down by their victim.
We've never seen Abhimanyu being this silent but he handled it so well because of the empathy and love he has for Neil. He was so torn 😠Harshad's acting was great, as per usual!
I'm not saying Abhimanyu took Harsh (the presence of a father, terrible one but father nonetheless and father figures) for granted but there is something about Neil's situation that he cannot relate to and I'm glad someone pointed that out to him. It reminds me of the scene when Abhira are drunk and Akshara says, "mere paas toh maa bhi nahi hai," because Neil and Akshara are yearning for a similar thing. Akshara had Mimi, Swarna, Manish (who she loves dearly, might not be the best - #KairaAreGoodParents) but that could never replace the void of Kaira or even Kairat for her.
