Abhi starts walking away from Akshu, but he immediately stops and goes back for her. This is such a beautiful parallel to all of the times he has walked away from her. All of those times, he has been in pain, thinking that she isn’t prioritizing him. But, today, he knows that Akshu declining the department has nothing to do with how much she loves him. Rather, it has everything to do with the fact that she always puts others before herself… the fact that she won’t have him fighting with his family for her.

Abhi takes Akshu’s hand in his and they walk away together. They are married now, and will never leave each other behind. He does not agree with her decision, but he stands by her regardless. And, that is what love is. He has things to say to her, but he will never say them in front of the family. He will do it in private out of respect for her and their relationship. And that is so important. He won’t give anyone a chance to question their relationship.

My heart broke for him in this scene, because he was in so much pain. This entire situation has triggered and retraumatized him so badly. He felt the burden of protecting Manjari since he was a child, but he feels that he has failed, as Manjari lost her voice due to Harsh. And now, he sees history repeating itself. But, he won’t allow that to happen. As I keep saying, he is trying to save Akshu in a way that he could never save Manjari. He refuses to let Akshu suffer the same fate.

Abhira get to their bedroom, and this scene was the highlight of the entire episode. This type of understanding and communication between Abhira is more beautiful than any romantic scene could ever be. Neither one of them can see each other in pain. They always put each other first.

Abhi is avoiding talking to Akshu. Things are messy, so he is cleaning. Akshu finally forces him to talk to her. Akshu apologizes for hurting him by rejecting the department in front of everyone. Again, what hurts Akshu the most is how hurt Abhi is about this entire situation. His happiness always comes first for her. She never meant to degrade his love. She was so thankful and overwhelmed that he gave her this present, but she will never allow herself to be the reason for fights in the family.. and especially not between Abhi and his father. She wants to mend his relationships, not make them worse. And, at the end of the day, this just shows the extent of her love for him.

While Akshu’s only concern is Abhi’s pain, Abhi’s only concern is Akshu’s sacrifice. He doesn’t care that Akshu countered him in front of the family… because, he knows exactly why she did it. He knows she gave it up for the sake of his family. And, that is what hurts him the most. Her dreams are more important to him than anything else, and he cannot bear to see them being crushed… and definitely not because of his family.

Abhi tells her that she isn’t alone in this and that he is sad that she gave up without a fight, especially when he is fighting for her. He asks if she doesn’t trust him, but she says that she trusts him more than herself. Akshu says that she wants to make a place in this family, to which Abhi reminds her not to expect anything, because good things don’t come to good people in this family… to which Akshu responds that she got him. She says that she will work somewhere else and then come back to the Birla hospital to make him proud after she has gotten experience.

As expected, Akshu is not giving up her career. It is the essence of who she is — music is her first love and what first gave her a voice, and helping people is at the core of her identity. She won’t forfeit these things. And, being able to pursue these passions is what always mattered to her anyways — it was never about the department. The department was just an avenue to pursue that and a symbol of Abhi’s love and support.

The minute she tells him this, Abhi melts. He says it was never about her title — but, rather, it is her attitude that has made him proud. He wants her to keep fighting for her dreams no matter what. Abhi says the only sad thing is that he won’t be with her, to which she says that he is always with her. She says that he is the strings on her guitar and without him, she has no music either. She says that if he keeps holding her hand, she cannot learn how to fly. And, this is exactly what Abhi needs to learn. He wants to protect her, but he needs to let Akshu do things on her own and just stand beside her. That way, she will gain her own place and voice in this house.

Abhi says that she has to prove HAM wrong, but Akshu says that she will prove them right. This is exactly why he fell in love with Akshu in the first place. It is her kindness and compassion that will win over the entire family. She is so strong, and with Abhi by her side, she is unstoppable. She won’t break… rather, she will heal everything that is broken in this family. Also, she won’t let Abhi fail in his commitment to keep her dreams alive. Neither will she let HAM weigh over him. She will rise above all of this for him… his love, support, and respect matters so deeply to her.

They have a cute moment where she tells him to step away so that she can run into his arms. Just then, the alert talks about the anniversary, and Akshu gets excited. Abhi says that his parents don’t want to celebrate so they cannot do anything, but Akshu says that they really should. Abhi gets a call and has to leave, and Akshu decides she will plan with Reem.

Akshu wants to plan the anniversary for Manjari. Nothing is more important to her than seeing her loved ones happy. And, Akshu has seen how much Manjari cares for and values Harsh. She has also seen how Manjari never does anything for herself. So, in her eyes, this is a way to make Manjari feel special. She doesn’t care that she was just insulted by Harsh, because that is not who Akshu is. She gives love to everyone — even when they don’t deserve it. Yes, she has seen the dynamics between Harsh and Manjari, but she has not been with the Birlas long enough to know that a kaand will follow. In her mind, this is a gesture that could bring the couple together.

Manjari overhears HAM talking about the IVF center and Harsh says history is repeating itself. She vows that Akshu won’t suffer from the same fate as her. Akshu has Manjari and Abhi beside her, and she herself is not Manjari. She is about to prove everyone wrong.

HAM are talking about the Chicago conference and how Anand and Mahima will go. Just then, Abhi comes and says that the invite is for him and he will go with Akshu — they have asked her to do a demo too. Harsh tries to instigate him and so does Mahima. Both of them say that Akshu doesn’t care for him and lets him down whenever it matters — Harsh brings up Akshu rejecting his love. Abhi walks away, but just then, Manajri comes and says to never let outsiders dictate what he knows to be true in his heart. Abhi tells her to worry and that he will never let that happen. HAM don’t understand Akshu at all, but Abhi does. She has chosen him every single time when it came down to it. Abhi’s love for Akshu is too strong to let anyone come in between it. He knows her heart, and he knows how much she loves him. Also, he has Manjari guiding him as well.

Abhi comes back to the room, and it is a huge mess. Akshu is unpacking. This scene is so cute. His OCD comes out, and her messiness does. She asks him to help her clean, and he finds the green dress. He asks her for his gift finally — she puts it on and comes out, and there is a beautiful pinga sequence!! But then, Abhi gets annoyed by the mess and tells her to rest while he cleans. By the time he is done cleaning, Akshu is asleep!!

Abhi says that tomorrow will be a surprise for Akshu!

In the precap, Abhi is leaving for surgery and Akshu is also planning something! Shama will be tomorrow I guess!

Another great episode in my books.

HAM:

These three so insecure and negative in their thoughts. They have played this game for a long time with their taunts and negativity that it's wore down the entire family and affected all the children and their relationships. Abhi and Akshu are the newlyweds and essentially fresh meat for these three to try and break them apart or try to turn Akshu into a Manjari. But Akshu is no Manjari. She will continue to smile, fight her way, and continue to kill them with her kindness.

Harshvardhan and Mahima trying to provoke Abhi and hit at his insecurities that Akshu does not support him when Abhi now understands and knows that is further from the fact. But I'm sorry them talking about support? When they undermine their partners all the time in their own relationships? I had to laugh at that. All I could think about is there will be a situation that will arise in the future that shows just how much Akshu puts Abhi as her priority. And there be a situation where she will save Birla Hospital or save the Birla family from something and all these negative things they said they will be ashamed for even utter them.

Manjari:

She's slowly getting her strength and doing what she can to protect Akshu and Abhi from "outsiders'" negative thoughts and harmful wishes against this couple. I hope whatever khaand gets loaded from this anniversary party Manjari will speak up in defensive of Akshu or in general speak up to whatever may end up happening.

Abhira:

I enjoyed their discussion over the Music Therapy Department closure and the decision Akshu made. This is the communication that is important and will only make their bond stronger. They both come from different view points but in the end they are open to understanding each other. Abhi is use to fighting back with fire. Due to the negativity in the household his thoughts tend to go towards the negative so his gut reaction is to fight back by outdoing so it can be a slap back at whomever was taunting, generally his father. Because he feels like that is the only language his father understands...revenge and one up-ing someone. Despite all the trauma Akshu has been through she has always remained positive and she fights in her way. I was happy that Akshu told Abhi that even she needs to learn to do things on her own and learn to fly herself. So I expect later on we will see less of Abhi speaking for Akshu and having Akshu speak for herself with Abhi standing by her side for support. He will add his commentary when necessary.

Green dress romancing was lovely but Abhi's OCDness 😆 got the better of him. If those dresses hadn't been pilled up on the bed he would have taken the next logical step. Meanwhile, Akshu wouldn't have cared 😆 she'd probably just push them aside and gotten ready to do the deed with her hubby.

I can envision a comical scene much later down the road when they've already had their SR and they are just romancing like normal and Akshu is trying to get Abhi in the mood and he keeps getting distracted thinking about some books or papers that are out of order on his desk or the shopping bags Akshu had tossed in the middle of the room after coming back from a day of shopping 😆 And she'll get super irritated at him and tell him to go fix whatever it is he wants to fix. He does and when he comes back to try again Neil knocks on the door interrupting them and basically takes his bhabhi away for some work 🤣

Am so happy as from late 2 episodes I was repeating these 2 ll work on their communication and its started.... thank u cvs....

3 clowns are underestimating abhira and their deepness of love... they ll get jadka soon...

Am happy Akshu spoke very openly than getting stucked in throat..... how comfy they are

Also about Manjari -- the day she blows is definitely going to be for Akshu! She has already started speaking up and gaining her voice for her! And, also, vice versa! Akshu and Manjari will protect and give each other strength always!!

Harsh and Mahima can instigate all they want, but they will fail every time. Today's parallel of Abhi going back for Akshu and not walking away spoke volumes. They are in this together now, and their understanding is increasing day by day. As Manjari said, how their relationship appears to outsiders is not what matters -- it's what they know themselves to be. Their love has no space for misunderstandings as it has been shown up until this point!!

Most of us have been on the ignore Arohi mode that I don't know if it was even noticed.

I guess Rudra coming with the iron must have sealed the deal. Who thought a State Topper would fall for a man who's family runs a dry cleaning business. He can keep her clubbing clothes wrinkle free so she can catwalk down the hospital corridor 🤣
