You know I was thinking something similar how did he know about the dress? Like he saw it in the suitcase and just thought I want Akshu to wear it. How did he even know what it would even look like?

Or did he think it was the Christmas dress and he was suprised it was something else, a much shorter dress with a gazy back.

But I paid him triple to lock them in their room from the outside.

Abhi starts walking away from Akshu, but he immediately stops and goes back for her. This is such a beautiful parallel to all of the times he has walked away from her. All of those times, he has been in pain, thinking that she isn’t prioritizing him. But, today, he knows that Akshu declining the department has nothing to do with how much she loves him. Rather, it has everything to do with the fact that she always puts others before herself… the fact that she won’t have him fighting with his family for her.

Abhi takes Akshu’s hand in his and they walk away together. They are married now, and will never leave each other behind. He does not agree with her decision, but he stands by her regardless. And, that is what love is. He has things to say to her, but he will never say them in front of the family. He will do it in private out of respect for her and their relationship. And that is so important. He won’t give anyone a chance to question their relationship.

My heart broke for him in this scene, because he was in so much pain. This entire situation has triggered and retraumatized him so badly. He felt the burden of protecting Manjari since he was a child, but he feels that he has failed, as Manjari lost her voice due to Harsh. And now, he sees history repeating itself. But, he won’t allow that to happen. As I keep saying, he is trying to save Akshu in a way that he could never save Manjari. He refuses to let Akshu suffer the same fate.

Abhira get to their bedroom, and this scene was the highlight of the entire episode. This type of understanding and communication between Abhira is more beautiful than any romantic scene could ever be. Neither one of them can see each other in pain. They always put each other first.

Abhi is avoiding talking to Akshu. Things are messy, so he is cleaning. Akshu finally forces him to talk to her. Akshu apologizes for hurting him by rejecting the department in front of everyone. Again, what hurts Akshu the most is how hurt Abhi is about this entire situation. His happiness always comes first for her. She never meant to degrade his love. She was so thankful and overwhelmed that he gave her this present, but she will never allow herself to be the reason for fights in the family.. and especially not between Abhi and his father. She wants to mend his relationships, not make them worse. And, at the end of the day, this just shows the extent of her love for him.

While Akshu’s only concern is Abhi’s pain, Abhi’s only concern is Akshu’s sacrifice. He doesn’t care that Akshu countered him in front of the family… because, he knows exactly why she did it. He knows she gave it up for the sake of his family. And, that is what hurts him the most. Her dreams are more important to him than anything else, and he cannot bear to see them being crushed… and definitely not because of his family.

Abhi tells her that she isn’t alone in this and that he is sad that she gave up without a fight, especially when he is fighting for her. He asks if she doesn’t trust him, but she says that she trusts him more than herself. Akshu says that she wants to make a place in this family, to which Abhi reminds her not to expect anything, because good things don’t come to good people in this family… to which Akshu responds that she got him. She says that she will work somewhere else and then come back to the Birla hospital to make him proud after she has gotten experience.

As expected, Akshu is not giving up her career. It is the essence of who she is — music is her first love and what first gave her a voice, and helping people is at the core of her identity. She won’t forfeit these things. And, being able to pursue these passions is what always mattered to her anyways — it was never about the department. The department was just an avenue to pursue that and a symbol of Abhi’s love and support.

The minute she tells him this, Abhi melts. He says it was never about her title — but, rather, it is her attitude that has made him proud. He wants her to keep fighting for her dreams no matter what. Abhi says the only sad thing is that he won’t be with her, to which she says that he is always with her. She says that he is the strings on her guitar and without him, she has no music either. She says that if he keeps holding her hand, she cannot learn how to fly. And, this is exactly what Abhi needs to learn. He wants to protect her, but he needs to let Akshu do things on her own and just stand beside her. That way, she will gain her own place and voice in this house.

Abhi says that she has to prove HAM wrong, but Akshu says that she will prove them right. This is exactly why he fell in love with Akshu in the first place. It is her kindness and compassion that will win over the entire family. She is so strong, and with Abhi by her side, she is unstoppable. She won’t break… rather, she will heal everything that is broken in this family. Also, she won’t let Abhi fail in his commitment to keep her dreams alive. Neither will she let HAM weigh over him. She will rise above all of this for him… his love, support, and respect matters so deeply to her.

They have a cute moment where she tells him to step away so that she can run into his arms. Just then, the alert talks about the anniversary, and Akshu gets excited. Abhi says that his parents don’t want to celebrate so they cannot do anything, but Akshu says that they really should. Abhi gets a call and has to leave, and Akshu decides she will plan with Reem.

Akshu wants to plan the anniversary for Manjari. Nothing is more important to her than seeing her loved ones happy. And, Akshu has seen how much Manjari cares for and values Harsh. She has also seen how Manjari never does anything for herself. So, in her eyes, this is a way to make Manjari feel special. She doesn’t care that she was just insulted by Harsh, because that is not who Akshu is. She gives love to everyone — even when they don’t deserve it. Yes, she has seen the dynamics between Harsh and Manjari, but she has not been with the Birlas long enough to know that a kaand will follow. In her mind, this is a gesture that could bring the couple together.

Manjari overhears HAM talking about the IVF center and Harsh says history is repeating itself. She vows that Akshu won’t suffer from the same fate as her. Akshu has Manjari and Abhi beside her, and she herself is not Manjari. She is about to prove everyone wrong.

HAM are talking about the Chicago conference and how Anand and Mahima will go. Just then, Abhi comes and says that the invite is for him and he will go with Akshu — they have asked her to do a demo too. Harsh tries to instigate him and so does Mahima. Both of them say that Akshu doesn’t care for him and lets him down whenever it matters — Harsh brings up Akshu rejecting his love. Abhi walks away, but just then, Manajri comes and says to never let outsiders dictate what he knows to be true in his heart. Abhi tells her to worry and that he will never let that happen. HAM don’t understand Akshu at all, but Abhi does. She has chosen him every single time when it came down to it. Abhi’s love for Akshu is too strong to let anyone come in between it. He knows her heart, and he knows how much she loves him. Also, he has Manjari guiding him as well.

Abhi comes back to the room, and it is a huge mess. Akshu is unpacking. This scene is so cute. His OCD comes out, and her messiness does. She asks him to help her clean, and he finds the green dress. He asks her for his gift finally — she puts it on and comes out, and there is a beautiful pinga sequence!! But then, Abhi gets annoyed by the mess and tells her to rest while he cleans. By the time he is done cleaning, Akshu is asleep!!

Abhi says that tomorrow will be a surprise for Akshu!

In the precap, Abhi is leaving for surgery and Akshu is also planning something! Shama will be tomorrow I guess!

What a perfect episode it was..🤩loved every bit of it..ak justifying abhi her reasons was very well performed..❤️I m glad she isn’t working for Birlas n also I m proud of abhi tht he never wanted her to work because he wanted her around him all the time..he genuinely wants her to succeed n he was happy tht she doesn’t decide to give up on her dreams..ak is so lucky to have him..❤️I so hate those 3 anacondas especially Mahi n harsh..they try to make abhi angry bt i m glad manju is always there to guide him..

I knew ak will be messy..poor Abhi was shocked seeing the room..bechara romance bhi nahi kar paya seeing the room..ak was so disappointed..uska bas chalta to abhi toot padti abhi pe..😂😂bt i don’t blame abhi because my bhabhi too has ocd she can’t sleep until every thing is properly placed..😂😂

Y I m feeling abhi will be super angry when he got to knw abt akshu’s anniversary of plan..😟

She is so positive in her mind and heart

Wow!! Wow!! What an episode! I don’t know if it’s Grace’s chai and cookies threat or something else, but I love how we are getting such good episodes back to back. 😂

Again, I haven’t read any posts yet so apologies if similar stuff is repeated.

So many wow moments in the episode today:

1. Angry abhi looking at akshu with those painful eyes- leaving the scene- then coming back and grabbing akshu’s hand- and leaving along with her.. that was such a big moment!! I was literally clapping and thinking, “waah! Yeh hui na baat”. It was not only a sign of support to akshu in her decision, but also a gesture to everyone present that no matter what Abhira will always be one team. Loved loved loved it!
2. Abhi cleaning the room as a way to manage his anger- it’s great to see they are showing the level of his anger at the situation and his anger management methods. Shows that he is aware that he can be volatile when angry and doesn’t want akshu to bear the brunt of it and hence trying to calm down. I find it very realistic. I know someone very close to me who has similar issue and this really helps. So kudos to writer for making abhimanyu so real. 👏
3. Abhi- akshu conversation- so so good. Their communication is improving with each kaand. I like how they talked so openly about what was bothering each of them. Forget the freaking department. it was always about akshu’s passion for music and helping other people. Abhimanyu doesn’t want akshu to loose her identity/her music/ herself and all Akshu wants is his support and love for her calling. So maturely handled! Also shows the kind of love and respect they have not just for each other but also for each other’s work.
4. Fighting to prove HAM wrong vs fighting to prove Abhira right- this clearly highlights the difference in abhi’s and akshu’s thinking. While abhi is not wrong in his “anger is the way to deal with HAM” approach, he will slowly see how akshu’s positivity will bring about a change in Birla’s mindset. Abhi’s anger is necessary for protection of his loved ones and akshu’s calm approach is needed to solve problems.
5. Manjari- She is so traumatized by what happened to her years back and what injustice she faced in this shark family. I feel so bad for her. Her thinking that she will not let the same happen to akshu is so progressive for all mil (mother in law) out there. I personally associate very strongly with this as when I was hesitant to pursue my doctorate degree after marriage (even though I had my husband’s support) it was my mil who had encouraged me not to give up on the opportunity. Also, Manjari ensuring abhi does not misunderstand akshu’s intentions was very nicely done. For all the negativity HAM project towards Abhira, Manjari and Neil will be their strongest support system.
6. Chicago conference- It’s nice that abhi is in on it and knows very clearly that not only harsh but anand and mahima also don’t have any regard for akshu and her profession.
7. Messy akshu vs OCD abhi- cute! Cute! Super cute! 😍
8. Precap- abhi’s date vs surprise anniversary party!! Yet another one of abhi’s date will be flopped ☹️I have a feeling the bts of abhi driving with “chala jaata hu” song maybe him returning to Birla home from hospital anticipating his date with akshu.
