Abhira arrive to the hospital and are welcomed so beautifully. Dr. Rohan is about to give Akshu red roses but he looks at Abhi and gives her white flowers instead — this scene was so funny! Everyone is complimenting them & saying how they will work perfectly together.

Aarohi is getting so jealous and starts crying/runs away thinking that Akshu gets everything so easily. She cannot stand Akshu’s happiness. Dr. Rohan comes with red roses sent to her from some Rudra and she gets a call from him too. Don’t know what kaand is loading here.

Abhira go back to Abhi’s cabin, and Akshu keeps thinking how to tell Abhi about the department being closed. He is so happy, and she cannot bear to hurt him. She also cannot bear to tell him the truth about what happened, because she does not want fights in the family because of her. That is just who she is. Akshu trips, and Abhi catches her. He has flashbacks to the first time they met. He tells Akshu that Manjari is also talented, but Harsh killed her dreams, and he won’t let the same happen to her. He says that her dreams are the most important, and he won’t let anything — not even himself — get in the way of her’s.

Akshu’s heart is breaking during this entire scene and she tells him that she doesn’t want the department. He asks her why and keeps probing her. She says that she doesn’t want people to think she doesn’t deserve it and got it as a gift during mooh dikayi while others get necklaces and rings. Abhi feels so hurt by this, because it is an insult to his love, and also both of their capabilities, because he is working in a family hospital too. He says that just because they get help doesn’t make them less worthy. The patients will come on their own and she will make her own name. Akshu assures her that she isn’t trying to hurt him. I felt so and for her in this scene. She just couldn’t work up the courage to tell him, and she ended up hurting him anyways.

Akshu starts talking about investments and profits, and that’s when Abhi realizes that these aren’t her words. He knows that Harsh has done something. Akshu overheard the elders talking about how the music department won’t make them any money, and she basically repeated that. Abhi has to go see a patient, so Akshu goes home.

Abhi comes home and starts ringing a siren. The entire family comes to see what is going on.

Harsh asks him what this is, and Abhi says it’s a loud and clear warning. Unlike HAM, he does not believe in plotting. He says everything straight and clear and loudly. That is one of the best things about him. He’s beyond all BS.

Abhi asks how dare they close the music department without asking him, and Mahima says he did the same with opening it. Abhi says it’s about intentions — his were pure, and their’s are not. And, this is 100% true. Yes, Abhi didn’t ask, but he was giving Akshu a platform for her talents that were already helping patients. This world is run by connections, but it is what you make of them that is more important. And, HAM, in closing the department, is acting just out of their egos and nothing else.

Harsh starts talking about money, but Abhi says this department cost nothing and that it will be profitable too…every major hospital believes in this therapy. Harsh keeps trying to shut down the conversation and doesn’t even want to talk about it. This is such a huge problem… Harsh refuses to listen, let alone HEAR what his son is saying. His ego and stubbornness are too huge. He says that Akshu can work in the hospital, but she doesn’t need the department.

Anand says let’s talk rationally and discuss the numbers — he is actually a hidden snake. He wants to maintain his image in Abhi’s eyes, but he was on board to shut down the department before.

Shefali interjects and says that Abhi should have supported Parth when he left the hospital for music. She questions where his support was then. Parth says this is about therapy, which he is unqualified in. Mahima makes them both shut up. Slowly, but surely, everyone is getting insecure of Abhira’s relationship. Shefali has never been supported by her husband, and Parth hasn’t been supported by his wife. So, both of them are going to get insecure of Abhira now.

Harsh calls Akshu unqualified and brings up the tuntuna, and that’s when Abhi loses it. He says it’s a guitar, and that if Harsh cannot understand this, then he is the uneducated one. He says that what happened to his mom will not happen to his wife. Abhi is so deeply triggered and re-traumatized in this moment. There is so much about his childhood we do not know. And, it will slowly unravel. He carries such huge burdens of the past with him. He watched his mother lose herself to Harsh’s controlling nature and his abuse, and he refuses to let the same happen to his wife. I always say that Abhi tries to protect Akshu in a way that he could not protect Manjari. Before, that protection was from Aarohi, but now it is from Harsh too.

Harsh and Abhi start going back and forth, and Akshu looks so exhausted. She speaks up and says that the department is their decision, but her decision is that she won’t work there. Mahima says problem solved and Harsh tries to instigate Abhi saying that you taunt me, but your wife and mom get what they deserve — you don’t place your bets on a limping horse. He is trying to make Abhi think that Akshu doesn’t care about him. Abhi looks so pained in this scene, but it’s not because Akshu insulted him or his love. He knows that’s not true. He knows Akshu more than anyone else — and he knows that her decision is because she wants to maintain the peace in the family.

Abhi starts walking away, but then he stops. Tomorrow, he will go back, take her hand, and walk with her. He knows what Harsh is capable of, and he knows Akshu. He won’t let Harsh get in between them.

Precap has Akshu apologizing for saying no to Abhi, but Abhi says that you should apologize to yourself for giving up on your dreams for other people. He understands her pain so well. Akshu finds out that it is Harsh and Manjari’s anniversary and wants to celebrate. Kaand loading. Also, the new OST sequence won’t be a dream!! Abhi is taking Akshu out on a date to cheer her up!!

Last thoughts for today — The Birlas cannot destroy Akshu. This girl has suffered more loss than imaginable, been emotionally manipulated her entire life, and gotten virtually no support up until she met Abhi. And yet, she is still standing tall. She is the strongest character on this show. Slowly, but surely, she will prove them all wrong.

I am 100% sure she is not quitting her career. She didn’t care about the department in the first place. For her, it’s never about the titles or the accolades. She doesn’t care. The reason the department was important to her was because it was a symbol of Abhi’s love and support of her. She was more worried about how he would react about it than the department shutting down in itself. She knew it would hurt him more than it hurt her. Also, the department was a means for her to fulfill her passions of music — her first love and the avenue through which she first found a voice — and, helping others — the very essence of who she is. But, she will never let the family fight because of her. That is just not who she is. So, she chose to remove herself from the situation.

Agreed, I was hoping for a better Neirohi plot considering what a big audience they're trying to win over. Especially cause Neil, the love of my YRKKH life, deserves an epic love story with development and progression. Not something done in haste.
