Yeah, Manjari isn't sticking to Harsh by choice though. She is a victim of domestic abuse, and this is the only life she has ever known. When people say that she should just talk back and stand up, I don't think they realize it's not that easy. There are 100s of fears within her, and she has been conditioned to stay silent and just bear the pain.Originally posted by: natkhat_angel
Which is the whole conundrum. What would really be a kick in Harsh’s ego? Clearly it is not care and love, or anger, or the success of a non-doctor Akshara or Shefali. What is his poison? MCPs exist and do much worse than PB does, that is a fact. But IRL I would never advocate a Manjari to stick to a Harsh. Then again, Aarohi and her high handedness would be long buried by me too 😆
Sigh. Abuse is a tough topic to write on. iTV does a really bad job at it. In the end everyone is whitewashed. 20 years of Aarohi’s emotional abuse and 30+ years of PB’s verbal abuse are going to be brushed under the carpet with a meaningless hug and speech.
As for what is going to kick Harsh's ego. This is ITV, so obviously it will be Akshu. She is going to win him over with her innocence and pure heart. She will also give it back to him like she did during the reception, but it will never be aggressive. She will politely and gently change the entire family. But of course major whitewashing is going to take place along the way, because this is just not how any of this works in the real world anyways. The writers literally whitewash Aarohi every other week, acting as if she hasn't emotionally manipulated and abused Akshu her entire life.
