Not really wanted to write essay on who did who. Two examples and countless one showed how she has to be pushed to her limits, coerced to act in a right way. Abhi was accused on molestation so she acted. Abhi was dying in fire she acted. Abhi threatened suicide so she acted. Abhi was taken to jail hence she went against Manish. Kabhi to khud se feelings lao. For aro she don't need these triggers. Aro will open her mouth and she will fall on her feet. She can cry just cause aro isn't supposed to be part of wedding rituals, are you kidding me? Their relationship atlst from akshu side don't even feel normal- not in an abuser abusive type. Something else.

Are you regular in this forum? If not please do go through last 100 pages and if you are free, let's make a chart on who was bashed most. The forums ladli is arohi, the normal relatable character. Abhi is the demon abusive jerk. In this very post you can get many replies with the tone of akshu deserve better. Lmao sure. Someone said akshara is ruining og akshara ka name. If there was a guy like naitik she would have cried buckets by now. Abhi /makers in typical itv style letting two sis go off the hook.

I agree that they each express love in different ways. And we were able to relate to it before. Abhi sensed it too and that’s why he persisted in spite of so many rejections. They were able to transmit that feeling across to the audience.

I agree that Ak’s displays of love for Abhi have been just as bold and meaningful as his - recall her slapping the desk fiercely as she said “ ladki bole toh bhi, ladka bole toh bhi” that’s the Ak we loved and supported. We understood her predicament, her devotion to Arohi and her trauma.

But with this awful accident/cheating/drug track they’ve alienated a section of the audience that loves Ak. They are skirting the blurry lines of right and wrong and making Ak almost as villainous and lacking in empathy as Ar.
Her dialogues are wishy washy, again making her

come across as uncaring ( whereas Abhi’s are powerful and clear).
Why can’t they show that Sirat made her promise to watch and protect Arohi as she was dying and that’s what she’s been doing as she honorably tries to be loyal to dead Sirat and keep her promise - but in the process, she fails to see how she is crossing the boundaries of right and going over to the wrong in protecting Aarohi. The audience will sympathize with Akshara immediately but they are not giving us those scenes yet. ( imho they are withholding it on purpose)

And if they decide to leave this track with Ak-Ar the only culprits then they’ve ruined it permanently. We need to reinstate Ak as the cute quietly bold but always upstanding FL. I hope I’m making sense.

I totally agree that the message about the hit and run, but that’s just ITV for you. People get away with their crimes and are whitewashed all the time, so there was never any doubt in my mind that the same would happen with Aarohi here.

Like I said in my original post, I don’t think that the writers have purposefully made Akshu mute. Again, it’s the way she expresses her love that is different. She is selfless, quiet, and deep. And that leads both the audience and Abhi to question her love at times. She doesn’t feel the need to tell Abhi about any of the instances that he doesn’t know about, because she doesn’t expect anything in return. She supported him and protected him because he’s her everything, not because she wanted credit. But for Abhi, he needs to hear it to ease his insecurities. There is a communication and understanding gap on both ends!

With time, she is becoming more vocal. She has spent her entire life bottling up her emotions inside her, having no one to talk to, and just going along with whatever everyone else wants. Like I keep saying, she is the victim of child abuse and neglect. She has no sense of self. And she is slowly coming into her own.
Her displays of love for Abhi in my opinion have been just as bold and meaningful as his. We have to bear in mind their traumas, backgrounds, and upbringings before comparing I think.
As the show progresses and her character continues to develop, we will see what you are asking for in that she will become bolder in the sense that many audience members want. But it will be a process both for the sake of drama and because that’s how it is in reality too!

Ya we have to remind her about her kudh se kudh ka rishta - Whenever she chooses Abhi she’s choosing herself and she is used to putting others first! That’s the conflict she has, the cross she has to bear!

For me, before the wedding I need them to show accident ka asli culprits. But I think I’m going to be disappointed- they are now focused on the wedding festivities.

It has never been the classic love triangle of 2 females going after 1 ML. As time has gone on, Akshu's love for Abhi and his love for her has gotten her out of Aarohi's clutches, slowly, but surely. Yes, it can seem that at moments she is backtracking, but I choose to look at her journey as a whole. What makes me sad is that its always about Aarohi or Abhi... it's never about AKSHU. And Abhi sees that too -- the day she stands for herself and becomes her own -- no one will be happier than him. Each time she has taken a stand for her love for Abhi, she has basically taken a stand for herself.

Point is they have to run the show another 5 yr so they can't show character progression in 100 episode

It is not about why but who deserves to be loved the most.

Akshara can go against the world only for two individuals one is Abhimanyu and the other Aarohi. Both are demanding in their own way.

One seeks attention ans other tries to snatch.

She is finding it difficult to choose between her would be husband and sister.

The bond between sisters or one sided ek tarafa pyaar, zimedari wala rishta is a thorn for the soon to be married couple.

Such kind of attachment can dent a lot relationships. Some can't tolerate die hard loyalty which blinds or makes the person defy their own principles and values.

Akshu does deserve Abhi's love. And vice versa.

She is not perfect but neither is he. She is quiet and serene, prone to thinking before leaping. He is prone to leaping, demanding and running at top speed when it comes to her.

I guess many were hoping she would immediately cut her sister off because he was demanding it - he made it clear that she is being influenced by Arohi.

However Akshu is very family oriented and though in love, will not be dictated by that love. She has to come to that realisation - who is good or bad for her - by herself and then take a decision.

Relationships work differently for people. Every relationship, one person puts in more than the other. That does not mean the other person is not deserving or their love is lacking. It just means they have a different love language that is understood by one another.

She lacks the courage to be truthful, which is also something we've seen time and time again. Truth is the very basis of trust between any two people, and she doesn't deserve to be in a relationship at least for now, because she's just not trustworthy. She needs to go for therapy, sort out her life, bond better with the family (yes, she needs to open her mouth, and not expect the family to magically understand her mind if she has issues), and do something that's not dependent on aroo.

We also saw her totally opposite reactions to Bade papa's heart attack (which wasn't caused by Abhimanyu by the way) compared to Manjari's accident (which was caused by Arohi with subsequent attempts by Arohi to hide). Now she isn't even bothered about the gravity of the situation and the freaking accident that could've killed Manjari all BECAUSE of her aroo, just because Abhimanyu wants aroo to not attend the 2 day wedding.

Sister's wedding attendance is her issue now, not the fact that her sister has committed a crime, tried to hide that crime, and callously said "Manjari marr toh nahi gayi naa". In supporting aroo, Akshara has become equally flippant, irresponsible, callous, and selfish.

Where are Akshara's morals, values and principles now? Such a person, who acts insane when it comes to their sister, is not ready for a partner or for marriage yet (to put it mildly).

She isn't even being asked to choose between right and wrong here - not even between a criminal arohi and a person like Abhimanyu (who didn't send the sisters to jail by the way). She just has to choose between a life with Abhimanyu, and Arohi not attending the wedding. Which she isn't able to.

So aroo attending the wedding is as important for her as a life with Abhimanyu. This shows what place anyone other than aroo has in her life. Hadd hai - matlab kisi bhi cheez ka ek limit hona chahiye.

This also shows that she has in fact chosen aroo, and was broken on the floor, crying because she had to now let go of Abhimanyu. But Swarna gave her hope that Abhimanyu will change his decision, and that's the only reason why she went to the park.

Where does Akshara draw the line here - or rather, does she even want to draw a line? People who are abused will definitely want to at least get out of it, when they have a chance. Tomorrow if aroo overdoses again and actually kills Manjari, even then Akshara will support aroo saying aroo beemar thi, aroo's career, blah blah LOL.

If Abhimanyu had caused an accident to bade papa or kairav, there's no doubt that she'll immediately trash her so-called love again, break-up and cancel the wedding. Abhimanyu should have just done that. Him sending away the police has made her take him for granted again.

She now wants her aroo to not get any punishment for the crime, when in fact both sisters should have been sent to jail. God forbid, if Abhimanyu unintentionally harms her aroo - Akshara will just kill him and go to jail for her aroo's sake. That's how insane she's become.

The truth is she doesn't value Abhimanyu or anybody else (apart from her aroo) enough to love them or consider their feelings when there is any crossroad. Which is what we've been seeing from the time she accepted her so called love. But whatever works for people.
