Writers forgot that they have a male lead who is a surgeon who is accomplished which would mean he would be at least in his mid 30's. Fine you want to write that because he has never experienced love before that when he has his first love he turns sort of childish and lets his inner child out that's okay. But there are ways to do that and still maintain the mature nature of the person.

Akshara is younger so yes having her do things immaturely now and then makes sense but she is also suppose to be a bit mature as she is the older sister.

When HC or PR are given mature dialogues and appropriate scenes they are excellent together. Their chemistry is there.

Visually what the creatives have is a handsome mature looking man who still has some young freshness in him and you juxtaposed that with a woman who has feminine cute features and it plays up the troupe of mature man with younger female. I don't know if I explained that well. But we see all yhe time in movies and other TV shows.

Its the writing that is not up to mark. Hence people focus in on the age difference.

Sorry to jump in, but if they didn't caste as per the story then it's a creative failure in my opinion.

The story is the hero always. Be it movies or show, it's the art of storytelling, and in storytelling you need to keep story as base and create everything else around it.

I for one think there was no relationship development phase for abhira so it lost the charm too soon for me because even i started to watch the show first for harshad and pranali individually, within a week i was in abhira fanclub and in another week i bid goodbye to the show.

Sorry, yes, the writing is bad. There is literally nothing attractive about an age-gap romance where the man acts as an emotionally-stunted 21 y/o Kabir Singh and the woman acts as a 12 years-old child.

Pranali and Harshad's acting don't salvage it.

Harshad looks uncomfortable with the character most of the time

What I am saying is that they don't have a foundation in story. Season 3 in all honesty has a very thin storyline. Writers have not kept up with their end. They have some excellent actors but they are not utilizing them well.

They decided to go a certain way with the love story by skewing into baby talks (for some reason) and such during their "dating phase" which was not dating 😆and it doesn't work. Even if they had younger leads I personally would be annoyed by it.

My only hope is during marriage phase they start talking more maturely with one another. It will be a slow progression though.

Akshara is taking baby steps forward in her personal journey of getting out of the Aru jaap she has.

You are a writer?

My kis des buddies were shocked to witness a wafer thin story line for Y3. Many of them saw the show for Hina Khan, skipped half of the 2nd generation and are back again for HC.

Simply stunned at the glaring loopholes. They are watching due to course of habit.

Any real life examples?

I believe love at first sight exists but i think it takes time for that love to grow into something that is so unconditional and deep like it's shown in the show

my grandparents ! Also a lot in my family. Itv is always stretched for drama factor and it absolutely doesn’t want us to apply logic.

Do you live a dramatic life as shown in itv ? No right. Itv has always been this way and this show is no different tbh I am not disappointed because I expect no logic. None of the itv shows have logic. If I want to watch something logical I would change my genre.

No, I am not a writer 😆

I think all of has have witness the loop holes and other things going on in the show.

Like if you introduced a family of doctors to the show then guess what homework to writers and shooting staff to understand the basic of medical terminology, what it takes to operate a hospital, some basic guidelines of medical staff and procedures. Otherwise if you don’t the those parts of the show will be ridiculous. I personally despise the surgery episodes. Over the top acting and some serious tomfoolery happening in the surgery scenes. I am not asking for E.R. or Chicago Hope level stuff. Heck, I saw a hospital scene from a EK show that was 100× better than what I have seen in YRKKH.

Synergy is needed from the writing to the acting to the direction to the editing. Right now writing team needs to buck up and give us good tracks. The rest I can sort of deal with.

Good actors can only do so much to elevate medicore writing.

Great writing paired with good actors will creates the drama and presence needed and capture the audience.

Well you do have indepth knowledge or how a story should move forward. For me everything is at face value. I never went into deep tissue analysis. Call me a trp phank, it is okay. I need a proper narrative. For example Imlie, the back ground story revolves around naxal effected areas but the main theme is step sisters falling in love with the same man. Though Imliya has moved on and the sub tracks are toxic in nature, still 4 lions has done a fabulous job in comparison to DKP.

For me Akshu's vocal chord operation was a nightmare. I ended up watching two and half men for detox.

Somehow I feel Harshad is not able to salvage the poor writing. He did in Bepannaah along with Jennifer. Here he too is faltering. The same goes for Pranali. She was mind blowing as Saudamini

I hope season 2 writers give a good narrative for some of shelf life.

It is a matter of prestige as the previous generations ran for a long time.

Can you share details of the hospital scene in Ek's show? which one has a better screen play

And some people have been with the show since Day 1 and still don’t quit 😳
