Rajan Shah's new show's Kanha (Shaheer's role) is a grey character whose done some kaand's in the past, and like Aarohi, doesn't apologize for his behaviour. But it isn't the similarity between Kanha and Aarohi I want to talk about (it's only been three episodes, it's too early to synthesize a character analysis on Kanha and see if there are other parallels, though I predict there won't be many because Kanha is his brother's devotee and will do anything to maintain his family's happiness).
It's Akshu and Chiru (Shaheer's older brother in the show). Both were fairly young when their mothers' placed their younger siblings in their care and said always look after them. Like Akshu, Chiru told his girlfriend, Sayuri, it doesn't matter what Kanha does or how he wrecks Sayuri's life 'cause Kanha will always be first for him, even before himself. Chiru always seems like the kind to acknowledge and correct his brother's mistakes, but then forgive them shortly after. At the end of Chiru's Kanha jaap, Sayuri said it's your family-oriented nature that I adore (like Abhi) while maintaining her distrust and disdain for Kanha.
