How is Akshara suddenly so insensitive?

I am not liking the sudden 360 degree change in akshara... First she didn't understand Abhimanyu's emotions that he must be hurt and then acted strange by shouting at bade papa and abhimanyu that don't seperate abhi from his family without even knowing about Abhimanyu's stand about it..she didn't even realise that if she had claimed abhimanyu since day 1, the family wouldn't go through the same humilation

Her precious aarohi for she was was sacrificing and she was ready to give up her love because she didn't even want her sister to feel hurt for a second, suddenly she didn't have one conversation with her regarding this fiasco apologizing to her for the humilation she had to face of a cancelled wedding.

The most insensitive part is today she is expecting aarohi to acknowledge abhimanyu as her jijaji ..like it's okay if she wants to but saying it so explicitly and excitedly as if nothing happened between aarohi and abhimnayu and then saying abhimanyu ka joota chupana...has she lost her mind? No matter even if aarohi moved on, doesn't she understand the awkward terms between abhimanyu and Aarohi? She knows what kind of hurt she went through when abhimanyu and Aarohi were getting married, so she should understand aarohi must also be feeling awkward and hurt seeing the same guy who dumped her in mandap to marry her sister.. how does she expect aarohi to become normal so soon? I get it she is excited and all and wants to share this with her sister but it's looking as if she has forgotten everything that happened in the past and expecting her sister to be all normal about it...i don't know I don't get Akshara's character, sometimes she is overly mahaan, she always expects people to do stuff she wants.. first she voluntarily sacrificed abhimanyu for aarohi and expected abhimanyu to anyhow move on, then made aarohi suffer to satisfy abhimanyu, keeps on throwing tantrums like valentine's day surprise, even today's episode she appeared like a nautanki, the way she orders abhimanyu to convince his father anyhow without knowing anything of the past, she comes across as dominating and extremely stubborn person who would want to get her way anyhow! All she does is family family whereas herself keeps on hurting abhimanyu, aarohi and family members due to her stupid decisions.

IN my opinion, aarohi and akshara are very similar.

Akshara wanted abhimnayu because she was attracted to him because of the "khudse khudka rishta thing abhimnayu said" and she found him as a kind doctor.

Aarohi wanted abhimnayu because she wanted a supportive talented doctor as her husband as we see aarohi remembering the moment abhimanyu praised her that you will be a very good doctor.

Neither of them are wrong to desire someone. Just they desire abhimanyu in different ways. Yes akshara's love is deep for abhimanyu as she saved him for the fire but it's also a matter of fact she is insensitive to his emotions , she voluntarily sacrificed abhimnayu , even after that abhimanyu and akshara got together, i haven't seen akshara appreciating Abhimanyu's efforts, his love whereas we have seen aarohi appreciating that akshara is so lucky, she appreciated abhimanyu for the internship she did under him. Aarohi is not an evil or bad person according to me and nor is akshara a saint.

when the family was trying to play dumb to Akshara's plight the fd was so agitated that Goenkas are insensitive to Akshara.

Akshara also used to tease Aarohi with Abhimanyu calling him her Shyam. That was so cringe, still makes me nauceous just remembering it.

And today Akshara is insensitive to Aarohi I accept. telling her to be happy as if nothing happened and that jijaji comment was so stupid. especially because there was such huge drama during Mehendi when Abhimanyu had shouted at her and literally pronounced on her face that he was going to be her jija.

Honestly if I am asked O wpuld say all of this is Akshara's fault. If she had accepted that she likes Abhimanyu during the 1st Tilak and if the family has refused the alliance at the time. This whole series would be understood.

But Akshara acting oblivious to Aarohi's humiliation only a few days old is of coz out of place for a girl who was sacrificing her love for his very sister.

asking her to dance, and tease Abhimanyu since he is her jija is like a punch in the belly I would say.

instead they could have shown Mimi talking to Aarohi and praising her that inspite of so much that has happened she is still being part of Ak's wedding preparations it shows how big her heart is.

Many things would have been solved with this 10sec scene.

The series is not detailed and audience has zero expectations from ITV watching for some eye candy and timepass.

Even tho akshara never told goenkas she likes abhimnayu , all fd was agitated that goenkas are insensitive blah blah whereas mimi was considering abhimanyu for akshara again after Tilak 1.0 fiasco...but now everyone knows how aarohi was into abhimanyu, all functions happened with abhimanyu , still they are behaving negligent of Aarohi's broken wedding is the most weird and out of the place thing to happen.

In the real world aarohi, akshara and Abhimanyu's character would be badly questioned because of this entire fiasco. This series isn't even worth our analysis as we know nothing of this sort happens in real life.

These two sisters playing ping pong with a guy is a 90's movie story. It didn't happen even then and now it is even more weird in today's time.

I think akshara seriously thinks that all that arohi ever cared was her career and after bps operation she went and hugged abhimanyu first so may be she had thought that even arohi has accepted her and abhimanyu relation and is just focused with her doctors degree..she is genuinely thinking that she has moved on and if we observe arohi even we dnt understand what exactly is gng on with her it's like some mystery so even arohi herself is not aware what exactly is gng on with her I feel

Regarding abhimanyus feelings I think writers keep changing characters according to their will and wish when Anisha came abhimanyu was insensitive but just because she was understanding him we dnt see any fault in that and akshara has always been a family girl even during their first meet she talked abt family more...she loves abhi too she never neglected him..she felt happy abt tilak she is enjoying and waiting for him what more does she have to do..it's just that somewhere she felt responsible for bps heartattack and she was emotionally vulnerable and spoke something which abhimanyu misunderstood

This weird insensitivity on Akshu's part towards the sister for whom she was sacrificing her most precious thing has been glaringly in the face since the mandir confession.. Just suddenly, immediately that Akshu confessed her feelings for Abhi she seems to have cut off her bond with her sister... Now the entire Goenka clans unconcern is also very strange.. Like you said, in the time of Aarohi's wedding they didn't know of Akshu's feelings, she had convinced them all that she was not interested and also that she had said it openly to the Birlas.. But now they know how Aarohi was so happy and how she was humiliated.. So this behavior is unacceptable.. Even after her breaking down in Kairav's arms and telling the disturbance of her heart, he is least concerned..

I'll not deny you completely and Minis points are also very valid but finally I started being positive about Akshara to enjoy wedding episodes fully and the post I created for weekend here some of our friends said lot of good things about Akshara so I am trying to think from that perspective to keep my mind positive and enjoy the serial 😍😍❤️❤️ this is the only serial I watch currently so Kya karun

True, Even this is the only series I watch now,

I remember I had given lot of benefit of doubts to Aarohi too, I was fine even when she blackmailed Akshu on first accident, Cuz humans tend to be selfish in some phase of their life.

So if we accept Aarohi emotionally blackmailing, her stealing Akshu's credit, her need to be the best n buying MD seat n stuff. Then why are we still stuck on Akshu, why can't she be selfish for once.

I've seen ppl complain when she was doing family jaap, then when she chose her happiness, Blah, Blah, Blue, Blue......

I don't understand is it that Akshu should only be expected to be perfect n not have any flaw.
