Abhi’s face fell. I think Ak must address his insecurities ASAP. They need to talk, poor Abhi deserves it. And like I had sensed yesterday Abhi has NOT agreed to the deal, he was buying time. Ak ‘s only contribution here was that she made him think how hurt his mom might have been with the choice in front of her. Otherwise Abhi was not wrong in this.
I see Aarohi teaming up with Harsh again.
But the Adoption track will end with Ak being firmly established in Birla House.
Akshu was on fire today. She fought for her love and her family. She put both bade papa and abhi in their place, saying that she will make her own life decisions…and this is spot on. They cannot decide this condition, as it is her life too. She tells Manish that Anisha will have the same problems at the Goenkas…Manish needed this mirror to his face, because he was thinking very selfishly and not about the bigger picture, even though he just wanted to see Akshu happy.
Akshu fought for Manjari so hard today. She told Abhi that she is going to be devestated by this and that he cannot put her in this place… and she was so right. It was so unfair to put Manjari under the bus to make this decision. She said you cannot break one relationship for another… and this is something that she herself has now learned. She asks Abhi if he would be able to choose in between them, and he is speechless.
Akshu tells Abhi that just because he calls Harsh sir does not mean he is not his father… his name is on his birth certificate, etc. This is so foreshadowing the adoption track and how Abhi will somehow either not be a Birla or Harsh’s illegitimate son. But, it is also foreshadowing that Akshu will help make amends between the two…just like Naira helped Kartik and Manish, which she reminded them today.
Abhi tells Akshu that he never actually agreed to the condition, but Akshu is more upset that he even put Manjari in that position. While Abhi goes all in for those he loves, Akshu also looks at the bigger picture…in this way, the two balance each other out, because you need both perspectives in life.
- Akshu reminds Abhi that she sacrificed her family for him once before, and this guy’s face immediately fell. His insecurities are going to be addressed in this next track by Akshu I think, because it is now Akshu’s turn to do the fighting and win over the Birlas…and by winning over the Birlas, she will essentially be fighting for Abhi. Today, Akshu did not give up on Abhi. Instead, she rejected the condition. She cannot live without her family, and she will not let Abhi live without his family either.
Later on, she is upset in her room, and before she eats what Kariav has brought her, she asks if bade papa and Abhi are okay. She is deeply upset with them, but they are her entire world. They are equals to her. And, Kairav said one holy truth today… that even though they both thought they were right to choose family over love before, to Abhi and Anisha that was wrong. And, this is something that Akshu is yet to address with Abhi in the fullest form. All signs are pointing in the direction of this conversation being on its way!
Abhi comes with the barat and it is the most beautiful sequence ever. Manish agrees for the shaadi and also accepts Kairav and Anisha. He apologizes for everything and Akshu hugs them both. Akshu then responds to Abhi’s proposal by continuing the song. Love the parallel from them singing alone outside the Goenka mansion to now being in front of Akshu’s entire family.
Meanwhile Aarohi is burning in the background saying how easily Akshu gets everything. She is surely going to create another kaand.
Harsh is breaking things in the precap. Abhi says he is not invited to the shaadi, and he says he will never let Abhi marry Akshu. It is time for Akshu to win over the Birlas now.
