Akshu isn't Naira

And that's a great thing for the audience because it means her story is fresh! If you've seen season 2, you'd know that Naira's story was never one about loving yourself. Naira loved herself very much! She was confident and a force to be reckoned with! It was about connecting to something bigger than oneself, connecting to family. That's a struggle some youth face these days but not most.

Akshara is connected to family so her journey is different. Her journey is about khud se khud ka rishta and that's something many of us can relate to. It's the journey Naira would've wanted for her daughter because she told Kartik that she wanted to watch her daughter grow into herself and flourish. That's the journey Akshu is on. Akshu is slowly learning and deciding her priorities and what methods work for her. Abhimanyu can't understand that right now, but that's okay cause he is at a different stage in his life. That's not an issue about Abhimanyu, that's more of an issue many couples with an age gap face.

Moreover, for the Kartik and Abhimanyu parallels. Their situations are different. When the issues between Kartik and Manish were resolved, Kartik was fairly young whereas Abhi is in his thirties. His issues and hostility is stronger because it's had a long time to build and settle.
