I agree. I was not happy either. There were times when he did sound rude. If I was in Akshu's side I would have asked him to leave owing to Bade papa health and would try to convince him in my own way. And there was no way he would have agreed to this relation either way so when Abhi was standing there didn't make any sense to me. But you know makers want drama so they do all this. And it's sad to see your favorite characters in this way sometimes. I love Abhi so I was more disappointed with him than Manish.

He was worried about Manish like any other doctor worries for their patients; he was worried about Manish because he was trying to pacify Akshara; and he was worried about Manish because he wanted to use that reason for Aarohi to stop outing him being there in the Goenka house to Manish.

But Abhi, more so Harshad acc, is who I expect better from cause he is better!

Abhi is a man who was raised to respect women and treat them as his equal. This is a man who puts his differences with Harsh aside for his mom and the betterment of patients. I expect him to understand that for Akshu her family is everything, so he shouldn’t treat Manish as Bade Papa by name only or as a patient. Rather, he should maturely approach the situation and put his very rationale arguments forth at the correct time. Not like this - holding up the gates, where any onlooker who assume he’s a goon trying to break in.

Sometimes i feel manish's anger is justified as his kids are confused in taking decisions and they always mess it up in the end.

But sometimes the way he handles or try to handle is not something that would fix the issue either.

For akshu before accepting arohi's proposal he could had 1 on 1 talk with abhira to know whats going on. Because clearly knew abhi loves akshu and akshu also showed some signs by going against the family in court case.

For kairav he can straightaway pose a question and ask him do you love her and if you are doing it for family then don't accept your love. No but he is like open the lock what not

Then the way he is controlling adults are unacceptable he can very well take them ask harsh to come to a place and say this is your kids want what do you want.. can we take a mutual decisoon on this. If harsh denies abhira has every right to strike infront of birla hospital pr ke liye manega hi.

This way manish can say its not my mistake but harsh's.

I think, if I only look at the situation they're in right now, not his history of hypocrisy, rude, and vindictive behaviour, I understand his frustration. Yeah, he shouldn't have come to the Goenka house and add fuel to fire. Him being there and arguing like that and pointing out that his love with Akshu is not wrong only makes Manish angrier than he already was. He should have found a good time and speak with him calmly but he is forcing his way through the Goenkas and Manish.

Also, Manish had a point! When the Birlas came to the Goenka for the rishta if only had Akshu told the truth of her liking Abhi then all these would have been avoided; and when Manish asked Kairav the other night what he wants and what he feels and Kairav had told the truth then this whole thing would have been avoided. I think what he wanted from his grandchildren is just honesty about what they want, not saying one thing and doing the other thing. The Goenkas kids need to learn to be honest.

I mean just look at how Manish is with Aarohi. She made it clear from the beginning that she wanted to be with Abhi and she fought for it and despite his reservation about that relationship he eventually gave in; she made it clear that she won't resign from the Birlas hospital and gave clear reasons about it and despite him not liking her decisions yet still he didn't push the issue and let it go.

Manish has every reason not to send get Akshara married into the Birla family. He is thinking about Kaira.

Harsh is more sinster and mean. Abhimanyu cannot guard Akshu day and night.

At the same his ego is coming in between. He can work out a deal by asking Abhi to separate.

With regards the language and tone both become mannerless after a certain point. Dr Abhimanyu Birla forgets his standing in society. He does not know the meaning of no.

You're not wrong for spending time with your girlfriend, but the way you're trying to resolve these issues is rude and frankly speaking, if anyone talks to my father like that (who I have a very similar relationship to Abhi-Harsh, maybe even worse) I wouldn't tolerate it. He's my father and he's OFTEN wrong but that's between me and him and when its not, there's other ways of handling it where you retain your dignity. Rather manish had ordered that akshu and arohi will have nothing to do with abhi or birla and on this basis akshu kept rejecting him only for manish to back peddle much to akshu's shock by agreeing to abhi-arohi rishta without any fuss later on. Not once did manish or any goenka family elder ask akshu whether she too loves abhi after abhi's confession in tilak. So why would any of the children be open with him when all he does is hukum-bajana over them but not asking them how they feel or want?

Manish fear that akshu would not be respected on birlas is correct yet that is not the reason he has been acting ignorant towards akshu's feelings or himself not giving her the confidence that she can communicate her wishes and feelings to him beyond him just directly ordering her around to not have contact with abhi without asking her about her feelings after abhi love confession or giving her silent treatment once she finally got guts to confess yet he still speaks to arohi without giving her silent treatment like akshu.

Its as if he knows arohi does not listen to him no matter what so he just uses guilt-tripping tactics only on akshu who he knows is the obedient one.
