Today I saw that Abimanyu and Akshara are really opposites.

There is no common ground.

A doctor does nt believe in Valentine's Day whereas Akshara is building castles.

She goes into deep into wonderland.

Only love isn't required for a relationship to work out.

Ya even I saw that. Both are opposite. I was reading on quora why doctors prefer to marry doctors.

It's because doctors have long work hour shifts and so a non medico partner will always have complaints of not getting time. Doctors have to leave important family functions for emergency. Only doctors can understand other doctor's language. Together doctors help each other achieve success.

So i understand Harsh's concern of having a doctor wife for abhimanyu.

Is Abhi really a doctor tho? Haven’t seen him working much and by the looks of it he’s seems to be taking the day off for valentines (who does that btw - takes the day off for a holiday that’s not really a holiday?)

Don’t get me wrong, Valentine’s Day is a sweet excuse to treat yourself, your partner, your friends or your pet (whoever you choose) but to take time off specifically for it, wo a bigger agenda seems silly to me. I’d rather my partner work earnestly to make time for me out of his schedule as much as possible. Regardless, his valentines surprise for Akshara is perfect - recreating Nairas vision for her precious angel 😍😍😍

Yes, Abhira are opposites in a lot of ways. Not just in these V day aspects and profession but even in temperament, nature... she sings, he is besura. She goes silent when hurting or angry, he yells and does thod-phod. She believes in accommodating others / family, he does it only if it suits him.

Until the previous generation, it was like that. Doctors preferred doctors because non-doctors would not understand the pressures and most non-med professions and jobs had fairly regular timings and predictable work pressures. Now that's hardly the case, courtesy of internet and global work.

Me and my husband both are doctors. He works in a corporate hospital where the timings are fairly regular barring the emergencies, of course. We get to coordinate our day-offs and spend some time together. My brother works in a software company. Europe timings. His wife has US timings. They struggle a lot more than we do. My husband's sister is a doctor married to a non-doctor.

So it's less to do with profession and more to do with the couples and their desire and determination to adjust and adapt IMO.

Very good. In short it is not about your profession rather it depends on how much time and efforts one puts in to make a relationship work. I must say Abhimanyu is trying.

We hail from the coastal region of Mumbai. Most of my relatives work abroad.

The men aren't at home. What kind of life they lead is upto to them. Extra Marital Affairs, flings etc are very common.

That doesn't answer the question why he is so rude towards Manjiri though as he is a PhD doctor and not an MD doctor. Yeah, he works in a hospital and might understand some things but ask him to treat someone or to operate on someone else then that would be hard for him. And despite working long hours in building the reputation and management of the hospital, he is not called out from important family functions for emergencies.

Also, it's not only doctors who work long hours. Lawyers, Investment Bankers, Consultants also work long hours and they also don't have much time in their sleeve. And it's the same in any profession right? Not many people outside of the industry will understand industry jargon and lingo.

Doctors are not really doctors in this ITV I reckon 🤣. Even Aarohi has a lot of free time for someone who has just started out as a doctor and usually young fresh grad doctors are at the busiest and work a very long hours.
