I have never been a crocs person. I see that they are trying conventional designs with it. Like sandals and ballerina shoes and all but I still don't like it. I love my pair of sneakers. I love trekking shoes too but you can't wear it everywhere. But Quechua ones are really good for trekking. It protects you from cold weather, leeches, and slipping while climbing and provides you with good stability. It is such an amazing pair of shoes. I can't see them getting ruined

and trekking shoes are so great and versatile why is crocs trying to make a croc version of a trekking shoe

The worst are the versions meant for kids. Ok, kids and trekking don't mix. Looks just really really odd when you take a rugged hard-wearing shoe and then turn it into some kiddie, cutesy version. Just use a kiddie cutesy shoe then. Don't waste the trekking shoe's capabilities.

I need to find a different company that makes a different shoe. But hard to ditch brand loyalty no? I keep trying to figure out how to make this newer, crappier shoe work for me😒

yeah i mean how many shoes can you replace a year once you've bought one you're kind of stuck with it

Also if you gotta run, you gotta use whatever's around. I mean, I wish I could've just kept the old sneakers and made do. But that's not possible, so just have to use the new ones and get used to the discomfort and the unsightly appearance. I have thought about just giving up on running and switching to something swimming. But sometimes one is just in the mood for a run, y'know...

yeah i try to take the shoes out for a run daily but now i'm getting tired because they make my feet sore

I feel like frikkin' Basanti in Sholay here - dancing in these awful shoes even though my feet are cut up and bleeding...

My eyes are closed pretty much through most of my runs and when I get to the really difficult rocky or slushy parts, I run really fast just to get it over with.
