Akshu does have her moments tho. I just don't think they're enough given she's under the shadow of Naira who is a (reckless) sherni after my own heart.

Akshu in the Ruby case was great, but her impact staggered with Abhimanyu behind her cause it makes one wonder, would the minister and ruby back down if Abhi wasn't there? or would they try something after the case? Likewise, her sherni avatar infront of Aaru is great but it only happens when they're alone. I get why she couldn't do that in the Mandir but when they're at home and Aaru keeps on cutting her, she should've fought back. Yes, Manish shut them both up, but Aaru got to say so much before he did while Akshu could just say "bade papa... bus aaru"

I understand..aaru didn't let akshu finish 😡 Aaru wants to save her own face ..but what I loved about akshu was her determination to set things right . She stood up and promised herself that she will win the trust ofnthe family AND manao them for abhimanyu . Previously when she did it , it was like ctrl alt del which angered me a lot (when she gave up on abhi) but this time I loved it ❤ 😆 this girl has this amazing quality of pressing ctrl alt del in her life and move on . Not delve into the past too much . Arohi ko bhi aise hi handle karti hai.

The diff between mishti and akshu is that mishti had rajshri and vishambar as her support system . Kuhu tried to pull arohi type stunts on her but the family intervened and she became stronger with time. Akshu is without any real support , but now she has in the form of abhimanyu so she will def show growth .

Abir was just fine but from what I remember, he didn't show kuhu her rightful place . When kuhu spiked the coffee ,it didn't come out in front of the family? Or abir didn't say much to her..in the family setting , abir also ignored kuhu when she kept hurting mishti. Abir and mishti both, they were weak in the family ..abir had issues with his mom, abhimanyu has issues with his father..but I looove the way he deals with harsh whereas abir used to run away n spend time as a hippe ..I didn't like that ....proper comparison toh hoga when abhimanyu and akshu marry

Aaru and Akshu need to learn from each other. Aaru needs to learn Akshu's ctrl alt del cause this girl needs to move on like SIS. Akshu needs to learn how to make opportunities, not wait for them!

Abir said Kuhu really mattered to him like a sister but if that were the case, he would've gotten mad at her when she did that rather than automatic forgiveness. With Kunal Mishti and Kokilla ben, he does get frustrated, angry and just reacts because they matter and they affect him. But with Kuhu, he became Kairav.

I come from a family that's very much like Abhi's, except we're not stinking rich, so that boundary he draws with Harsh (calling him 'Sir', standing up to him, etc.) is something I respect and relate to. Abir was much weaker than Abhi in that sense. He knew his mom was wrong and he stood up to her, but he never drew that boundary so she could not affect him and Mishti as she did.

Likewise, Akshu is much more in the present than Mishti ever was. Mishti didn't confront her past per se, but she let it be known that she was still affected. Akshu wears a mask infront of others constantly and since her family is getting fooled, she's great at it. Wearing a mask is a hard task and it makes her strong but I just want her to have a relationship with someone who she doesn't have to wear a mask infront of. I fear that's not Abhi because she'll put up a mask to protect him from getting involved and getting his family relations strained.

Akshu definitely gets points for fighting for her love this time. Mishti didn't do that. She tried to keep Kuhu's marriage well but when it came to her and abir she didn't try to get both families love and acceptance.

Ever since season 3 started, I couldn't help but draw comparisons between this storyline and yeh rishtey hai pyaar ke.

• Two sisters at war with each other
• Two brothers dealing with parentage and family dynamics
• Misunderstanding between families - Mishti rejected Kunal, his ego got hurt. Kuhu wanted Kunal but his Rishta and ego were aimed at Mishti
• The brothers have this undying love for each other, like Abhi and Neil
• soul connection between Mishbir and Abhira (also Abir and Abhimanyu's name's are similar)

I'm not saying they're the same, but the parallels are there! With the makers being the same, I expected the story to follow similar developments but alas. With Mishti and Kuhu (for the most part, their relationship was understandable and their behaviour was human) I believed the story more. But with Aarohi, her behaviour already seems out-of-touch with reality. The Maheshwari's weren't stupid - despite the girl's pretense they understood the hostility between them and intervened when needed. But the Goenka's wait too long and the overall family dynamics are confusing me.

I'm also biased. I find Abir much more sensible and endearing than Abhi whose more exaggerated nowdays. I wasn't the biggest Mishti fan but I like that she wasn't a Mahaanta ki devi, tho she wasn't conditioned like Akshu so that might explain it.

Both stories went haywire tho so I'm not saying either is objectively better

None from these options

Best start was Yrkkh season 1

With kid Naksh! Oh I loved Naksh and Akshara scenes, she was such a great mom

yeah even i use to watch naksh scenes with gayatri,akshara nd rajshri many times on IG ..i really like there parenting episodes...naksh looks very royally tantrums kid...means in a cute way he was spoiled by there extra love and affection

Yeah all that was cute..but none of them ever differentiated between girl and boy..except suhasini goenka/mimi🤢She badly wanted a pota..that's why whatever happens with goenkas I don't feel bad for them

Initially I could not understanding why the hell he signed up for a show where everything starts and begins with shaadi. I did not feel connected with Meenakshi Or Parul. Why Kuhu became hostile towards Mishti, when there was nothing shown in the first season

Mishti and Kuhu did not have a back story. I mean there was no substance. Mishti and Kuhu weren't toxic from day 1. Whereas Sirat's and her mother were more than enough to turn Aarohi against Akshara.

The Maheshwari's had principles.. Goenaks did not have any .

The Birlas are dsyfunctional only because of Mahima and Harsh. The power struggle is evident on their faces. However they love their kids.

The Goenka do not know that Kaira's children require therapy especially Akshara.

Mishti is a much stronger character than Akshara. Inspite of being Naman's daughter she had some of inner strength.

Abhir and Abhimanyu

There is no comparision

One is day and the other night. Abir could immediately realise or read the other person's thoughts. Abhimanyu ko terrace se kudhna padega. Yes he realised that Akshara is emotionally abused after he broke up with Aaru. Of course Manjri also gave him sound advise.

In a way Abhi is similar to Dev Dixit. Unpredictable.

Coming to S3 of Yrkkh.

A S3 has a bunch of talented support cast. Vinay Jain is dynamic. His scenes with Harshad are full of zing. The drama quotient is full on.

Whereas the face off scene between Rupal Patel and Shaheer fell flat. Mishti rejected Kunal but the cross connection was due to Meenakshi. I did not understand why she did not like her. The acting wasn't impressive. Whereas as a viewer, I can relate to Harshvardhan. The man works as per a time table, loves his son to the moon and back and consider Akshara as the root cause of his problems. I could not get the vibe from Meenakshi Rajvansh. Moreover Abhir loved his mom and there was no underlying discord from his side. He managed everything..

Yrhpk lost ground due to Covid. The writers lost the plot as Anupama came in between.

That's what..she had lav kush as her grandkids at that time..and kartik...

She didnt dislike girls. But she wanted pota. She did a special pooja when naira was pregnant . If I am not wrong she also pushed for a sex determination test. When the doc said naira can't have children , mimi ki haalat kharab ho gayi thi. 😆
