I am so dissatisfied with this track

I feel so disappointed with this track.

Why did they make Akshu care so much about her family and her sister to then out then through this humiliating situation. Why are they deciding not to go and speak to the family? It feels like Akshu wants to hold back but the fear of Abhi taking his life has given her the push to make this move.

Why does Manjiri who didn’t give a shit about Akshu, did do anything for their live even though Abhi told her he lived Akshu, why does she get ti be the one who gets a call? So Abhi can call her but Akshu’s family doesn’t deserve anything?

Harsh said Abhi will look like a villain, but we all know that’s not true. The villainess will be deemed to be Akshu. She will be harassed by Arohi and rejected by her family. Now I understand why Mimi gave that speech about Naira. That she was misunderstood by the family often but then they understood she was right.

I really didn’t want this for Abhira. I wanted Arohis truth to come out, I wanted the family to understand Akshus sacrifice and Arohi, Harsh etc games and lies. But nothing. Even Manjiri doesn’t seem to know what Akshu is the one who saved Abhi.

I feel so dissatisfied! Is it just me?

No, you’re not alone. Many in the forum have pointed this out. Even though we are gushing about HP’s chemistry and their attention to the minutest of details while portraying Abhira’s emotions, we are also trying to see how things could’ve played out differently and have concluded k this was how it had to happen.. Because 1) it has already happened. 🤔 2) Akshu had to be threatened with Abhimanyu’s life.. else she wouldn’t ever come out of her maun-vrath. 😒 She would rather witness Abhimanyu marrying her sister than confess her love and break her family’s trust and happiness. Such is her nature k she wouldn’t ever willingly take her sister’s happiness from her.

She had gone to the Sunset point with the intention to explain and convince Abhi how she had to lie/hide the truth. And how it was in the best of everyone’s interests. “Tumhe samajhna hoga Abhi” was what she had planned on doing. And not to confess. She kept asking him to come in front of her so she could talk about her majboori.l and give her reasons/excuses. He had probably already expected her reply is liye he wasn’t waiting for her on a bench when she reached there. In fact, he didn’t give her that breathing space to think/explain/ justify her mistakes, by pulling up a disappearing act on her. He kept sending emotional voice messages to her and wouldn’t come out of his hiding place until she was visibly panicked and feared for his life. Only when she’d confessed a few times did he appear before her. It was an extreme measure, yes. But it is what worked in their favour. 😅

Isi liye.. Even though she’d realised Arohi doesn’t love Abhimanyu, was only greedy for the power and status of his surname.. she only wonders if she should let them marry. But still doesn’t breathe a word to Kairav when he asks if something was bothering her. Talk about staying true to your promise to yourself.

We definitely feel they could’ve gone a different route and chosen a different timing for their much awaited confession. But I think this way was what they chose to earn the audiences’ interests. Or to gain TRPs, I’m not sure. 🙂

I’ve read a lot of your posts and we share the same view on most if not all the things. Is liye I felt compelled to comment here. ❤️

See first they could have kept dr. Abhi the one who doesn't believe in love and has not married and is only living a career. Then Manjari's stressed out scenes should have come and so dr. Abhi agrees to marry any girl of their choice so they decide on dr. Arohi being a topper and dr. Then the scenes of Abhimanyu hearing/meeting and falling for akshu could have happened. So then we could have the love triangle and abhira's love angst without them appearing cheaters and dumbasses and aarohi not being a complete vamp. And yrkkh retaining atleast something of its original essence.

I agree. But with this story in mind too, it would’ve looked like Abhira cheated on Arohi because Abhi was already promised to Arohi? Or you meant just the rishta finding and not finalising? Then toh it would’ve been great, the leads realising their delayed meet and fighting their connection and chemistry.. it would’ve been a lovely angst, yes! 😍😅

No way they won't dare to take this route. Tamarind writers have already shown a similar track and the ML lead was massacred to the point of no return. He finally left as he wasn't able to sign web shows or films.

All said and done. First 100 episodes of kati Imlie is a visual treat. The ML is a regional actor and the FL is a newbie. The story worked only because each and every actor gave their best. Stellar performances I must say. The reason why rival fds are nitpicking Yrkkh actors for their skills is because regional actors set the bar very high.

Anyways, Chronological order won't work in Yrkkh's favour. In Ichche Nodee, Anurag falls in love with Meghla and gets swayed by Adrija. Utkarsh followed the base plot quite well. THAT IS WHY AKSHARA ISN'T THE PUNCHING BAG AND AAROHI IS THE OFFICIAL VAMP.

Imlie's story is equally messed up. Idk but I feel a simple story told convincingly with good performances is always better than twisted plots with so many holes that when we start watching them our brains start coming out of those holes. And I don't see that Utkarsh has done a good thing by following the IN plot bcz that also is such a crazy tale. It would have been better if they had changed some basic points in the plot and given some convincing roles to the characters.

This is exactly how I would've set it up too. Makes perfect sense.

You know how I would played it? Have Akshara stay away at whereever she was for three years till AFTER Arohi goes to work in Birla hospital, Manjari has her weird cholesterol associated lethal bimari, Abhimanyu agrees to marry anyone (makes way more sense for him to do that when he still didnt believe in love), and have papa Birla pick Arohi. Then bring Akshara back for the wedding, have him hear her awaaz, see how much she is like MAA etc. and fall for her AFTER he and Arohi are engaged (or promised during the tilak or whatever). At that point, the guilt and pulling away from each other would make more sense and they could work up all the drama without unnecessarily demonizing Arohi and making Jijaji so damn idhar/udhar. Just my 2 cents

OMG I thought I was the only one who felt that way after seeing the TRP skyrocket and everyone go crazy with the Milan. Like don't get me wrong, they're very cute but they're lacking development and consistency. Like the promos gave away a lot. I'm hoping with the parallels they're trying to build it'll be better but eh

Exactly! Then it would actually be that fate has thrown complications in their lives and nobody would really be blameworthy. It would be a much more interesting story even if its an old trope. Like I said a simple story convincingly told....
