Aarohi and Sirat

Is it just me or was Aarohi a lil down when Mimi said you look just like your mom? Like she doesn't see that as a compliment cause she thinks (and is prob right) that the fam liked Naira more?

Or maybe I'm overanalyzing this and shes just worried about Akshara "ruining" her life

I also realized this may b she DNT like her mom 🤣i hope this track comes🤣

I think she was insecure about her relationship with Sirat before she died. Like she was jealous of Akshara before and when she found out Akshara wasn't Sirat's daughter she was happy because that meant she would have a chance to be closer to Sirat or at least convince Akshara to "back off".

See its ITV so I've given up on expecting better from characters and plus Kaira had some really cute moments

The whole Akshu-Sirat-Aarohi thing is the actual triangle in this story. Aarohi's insecurity, some Nani related issues, her stubbornness.. none of them were ever addressed. They let all of it continue in the name of being the youngest. And it festered. Her insecurity bred hatred, and it all continued to such an extent, that she can't even see that she's destroying her own life by walking into this sham of a marriage.

So, I guess when they compared her to Sirat, it would have been that second of realisation that is she good enough to be compared to her mother? After all she has done...

Y'know I thought I saw this too! But I wasn't sure if she was reacting to Mimi or to something else. I didn't watch the Sirat episodes but could be that. Although Mimi saying she looked like Sirat is basically the same as saying she looked like Naira 🤣

For my psychology class I was reading a study about how people judge attractiveness and the study’s conclusion was when it comes to people Yk, facial features/appearance is a minor factor. You judge their attractiveness by their personality and Manish’s attitudes to sirat are the same way. He’d compliment Naira being like look at my beautiful Bahu but never sirat even though they could be wearing the same dress and have the same face. Idk if that makes sense or is as relevant as I thought it was lol maybe I’m just trying to revise for my quiz at this point not acc talking about the show 😅
