The most OBTUSE triangle

The so-called point of tension in this plot is getting weaker and weaker.

Why doesn't Abhimanyu fight for Akshara now that she's openly calling for him and all? Didn't he say at the slightest sign he'll fight for her? Instead he's deciding to withdraw! What kind of sign is he looking for exactly? A celestial voice saying go for it (which hey, he also got in the hand burning episode)? A big lighted sign in the sky?

His character just doesn't make sense to me. When he should've have backed off, he was in NORMAL NORMAL INTOXICATING JIJAJI mode. When she's trying to reach out to him, he's skulking around corners and behind door posts. Obviously he's inherited Manjari's ability to do the exact wrong thing at the right time😆

Also what the heck is wrong with the Birlas and Goenkas - acting like clowns at these wedding functions and blithely ignoring the fact that the groom is in love with the bride's sister, and not with the bride. If Abhimanyu's behavior gets any colder to Arohi, it will start snowing in the room! But how have they not noticed the bride also doesn't show any signs of love towards Abhimanyu? Arohi's been on the phone or going AWOL suddenly. And she has never once used the words 'love' and 'Abhimanyu' together unless "to be a power couple with" is between them.

Except for Neil, why ISN'T anyone else actively concerned about joining Abhimanyu and Arohi in a loveless pointless marriage when there's a perfectly good alternative option RIGHT THERE? What kind of neglectful callous family doesn't react to a situation like this with alarm and worry?

I agree after Akshu’s accident, her brain cells are working backwards…but I think even Abhi’s brain cells are impacted when he hurt his finger 😭
