The only thing abhimanyu knows about akshara

Honestly, abhimanyu is shown to be so self obsessed and dumb. If he was rejected why didn't he find the need to find the reason ? The most natural reaction is to find the reason. He didn't even consider maybe akshara likes somebody else or didn't even consider what do I lack that she is rejecting or maybe she has some problem that's why she is rejecting. He never tried to find out how she lost her parents. He never tried to find out why he found her crying in the ghats and why she has panic attacks.

I think we are being a little too harsh on abhimanyu. During the trip, even akshara gave him a lot of reasons to think that she reciprocates the feelings. That 'kuch mat kehna' , dance during mask festival etc. Even after the festival that late night call, the dhanteras meeting( the voice message, the car scene) all gave abhimanyu signs of her having feelings for him. Moreover it has been showed that abhimanyu has a connection with akshara ...he can read her eyes n all. N he asked akshara about love during the trip n her reply made it pretty clear that she was single

Although a point of difference, when he speaks to Akshara he does show a softer side to him which he doesn't with others like today at the end when he was asking her why

Million dollar question why Abhimanyu and Akshara have not had more talks.

Everyone is so busy with getting people married off no one has had a conversation about who they are, what their family is like, what they like don't like, etc the normal stuff you find out when you date.

Literally it was a 2 day trip and boom "hi, I'm here for marriage." None of the characters know each other that well and the families also don't know much about each other.

Only after the fiasco have the families continue to meet up and start to get some understanding of each other.

But we are getting there. Today's episode Abhimanyu saw how effected Akshara was and he asked again when he found her. But Akshara is still keeping this issue to herself because it is a painful memory and unfortunately I feel the CVs are saving it for another use later on in the show so they won't have Akshara say anything more nor will they have Abhimanyu push to inquire why/how come her grandparents raised her.
