You said it all in your posts - bravo! This is the writers taking us all for idiots while they try to build their flimsy house of cards plot. Akshu has no reason NONE for keeping up this charade - the families are going to be joined together regardless and she’s forcing her sister into a loveless marriage while causing herself and Abhi pain. The only person who will lose out if Akshu admits everything is Arohi - and it will be good for her in the long run to sort out her priorities from ego. Win-win-win!
