Dr. Abhimanyu Character analysis and the previous seasons.

So just for some self clarity I did a character comparison of the 3 main lead of YRKKH.

Sharing my thoughts and looking forward to hear from everyone of you. You dont have to feel as intrnsely about the current track. But I am just the way I am. 2 series I watch in Hindi Anupama and Yrrk for Harshad now. Did not watch much of Nair-kartik. I am a Hina Fan.

Naitik- Kartik- Abhimanyu.

Season 1- Naitik was a conservative marwari rich boy who fell in love with Akshara the minute he saw her picture. The rest as it played around we know. He wanted Akshara all for himself all the time and most of their fights were about Akshara's balance between sasural and husband.... that was the main gist of the first one-two yrs of YRKKH. After that TRP game began.

Season 2- Naira and Kartik story started when she was a runaway. Kartik was smitten by Naira from day one. But her being a orphan and aggressive girl kept Kartik at bay in fact he connected with Akshara during the Haridwar episode.

Also remember that Naira was a runaway teenager when they met and he had just got a job and living as a paying guest since he had left his house in anger.

They had a different storyline growth accordingly.

Season 3- Here we have a shy, reserved girl Akshara whose one passion is music. She is constantly shown trying to keep her family happy. Smile* Smile* smile* is her solution to everything.

Tum itna jo muskura rahe ho, kya ghum hai jisko chupa rahe ho is meant for this girl!

She is a girl who keeps all her thoughts and feelings bottled up and wants her family to be happy. A motherless girl who wants her family to love her especially her younger sister who has blackmailed her into a lifetime of a guilt trip. And the family has done nothing to help her. Because its Akshara's job to say smile and for them ALL is well!!

From where I see her- Akshara does not trust anyone with her emotions. Since childhood she has witness how her family treats the loud arrogant child Arohi. Akshara knows that Arohi's behavior must not be encouraged yet her family treats Arohi like an indulgent child. Or maybe treat both girls same manner. Even when Arohi is rude both the girls are asked to keep quiet. Wierd Much!!

Kairav is trying to create a balance between his sisters and doing a bad job at it.

Because Akshara is a soft hearted girl she is asked to compromise each time. WHY!?!

Abhi comes across as a no nonsense person. He is attracted to Akshara even before he has seen her. the connection is on ethereal level. Like Shyam ki basuri.

Fact is that Abhi meets Arohi first since she hit his bike. Bit he does not give her even half a glance. He cares a hoot about who hits his bike. He is a man who is only concerned with his own work. own life. He does not even care to chide the person who hit his bike.

But he is immediately affected by a girl who comes to the hospital with panic attack. He has an urge to touch her hand and immediately he makes the connection to the voice he has heard before. If the other doctor had not come he was ready to pull the covers and see her face.

He decided to go on a trip to forget the voice playing in his head because he thinks it futile. So for him to hear the voice on the trip and meet the girl with the voice is a dream come true. And what he sees is so pleasing to his eyes that he wants to explore what he is feeling within him.

Akshara is also shown affected by his kindness when he says that being simple is harder. Someone had taken her side instead of the topper Arohi.

When he asks her to sing she is reminded of the Doc in the hospital and Abhi catches that emotion passing through her face.

Later she actually wants to know how she sang- That is a straight A flirting signal.

And Akshara was the one to starts the Methi joke as she was leaving the cafe and she turned twice to look at Abhi which gave him another straight forward cue that the mating game is on.

Rest is all situational and for the next 3 days he has ample opportunity to witness the cuteness and kindness of this shy and quiet girl. She is drawn to him every time... they are shown trying to find an opportunity to be next to each other. Abhi is a heart surgeon, experienced, sharp and he notices that every time he looks at Akshara and thinks of her name she responds by turning to look at him as if he did it in real. He is completely taken aback himself.

He is unable to leave her alone after that point and thats when we see him waiting for her early in the morning before breakfast. And sure enough she senses him once again.

And when she responds to his unspoken words mujhe kuch kehna hai with kuch mat kehna aloud. Abhi knew whatever they have he does not want to deny it.

How many proves does he need to acknowledge that this is the girl who is meant for him simple, ordinary, careless, clumsy however she is it does not matter to him.

She is meant for him and he is meant only for her. He does not care about what the world thinks about a person to love them. He knows how the world treats his mom.

Abhi is a Heart Surgeon and he does not have much time or interest in unnecessary frills. He is straight forward and he knows both of them are of marriageable age. When he meets the grandmothers, he has already decided what he needs to do next. Dating must not have even crossed his mind for where is the time for this surgeon?

Well, I hope you enjoy reading my understanding of Abhi and his lady love situation.

I really am struck with Harshad's acting skills. The guy is a genius.

For me this was a process to make many of the things that I felt and understood clear. Writing and exploring is my way of understanding. By now you must know that I am intense and quite sure of how I perceive and think.

I hope you can soon see and feel the intensity with which Harshad brings the fabulous Doc Abhimanyu alive.

I already read your this post in other post and must say very good analysis. I agree with you.

You know the first scene where he asked her to sing for her or the cute funny banters of methi Dana and stuff - I feel they should show such stuff more often than cliche romance( I like that too) but I feel they should bring friendship nok jhok teasing each other more. Even if u watch Pranali and Harshad interview they look so good teasing each other. I already loved abhira chemistry and how they fell. Am not finding him creepy or weird but I feel they should focus more now on this friendship thing.

Also I feel it's high time people stop comparing Kaira, Naksh to Abhira. Each couple is different and every love story is different. Also the old ideas of love have become obsolete.

The way they showed manjari calling Akshara for Abhimanyu is very realistic because this is how it happens in real life when a guy/ girl have a break up the parent gets concerned and try to talk to that partner. Also, two people can be friends even if relationship thing didn't work out. Kudos to makers for bringing such concept if there is going to be a proper track on this one.

I already read your post in another thread dear will I look silly if I told you I actually cried for akshara all these time. I had always been bad with words so I don't do these intense writing like you did but every word you just told about akshara is like you had taken them straight out of my heart.

Firstly I started watching this show for Harshad but had days went it is Akshara's role that I fell in love with. Somewhere I can relate to that girl because I am simple like akshara and never had any ounce of interest in being in rat race and just like her I have the habit of bottling up my emotions too. So watching her everyday felt like seeing myself.

Regarding her hiding her emotions why would she tell them to anyone. To her spilling her emotions is like spilled milk neither it can be collected again nor it can be of any use. So why would she tell them when she knew it is of no use. When she can't even trust her own family how can she trust a stranger.

Remember how I told you I relate so much to akshara myself. So my family knows that I bottle my emotions up and my mother always nags me to tell what's in my heart but I simple pass on a smile to her. She knows I don't tell anything so even though I am the elder I get extra care from my parents. I guess that's what akshu too needs a parental guidance and to see who and how she will be guided is what makes me more eager to watch the show.

Regarding Abhimanyu so far his character is designed as best as it could be. In this fast faced world and a busy surgeon like himself. He doesn't have time to date. He needs a lifetime commitment and had a soulmate feeling with akshu so he chose her. Other things doesn't matter to him. He has a lifetime to date her and know her. Remember how he told his mother after coming from the trip that it is a first for him to talk to a girl or love her. That's how his life has been. He may be a renowned successful doctor but as a person he is a very simple person nothing big just a normal guy.

When akshu rejected him he knew it was a lie still he accepted it took a step back respected her wish. They didn't show him here in a typical itv way where the ml starts to hate the fl or misunderstand her.

Remember when the trip ended and akshu had a panic attack abhi after calming her simply told her, " If she told him anything he will understand it, if she told her problem he will solve it for her" And that's what he needed from her. One word from her side is enough for him to move mountains for her. ( ok that have to wait until the story progresses)

Regarding s 1 and s 2 though I haven't watched much we really can't expect to have the same thing till now right.

In S1 wearing a chudi from saree and making sweets after the first day of wedding was a big deal do you all really want to see such scenes.

Regarding season 2 please if we go on the same route where we know what's the end is then why would we even explore that way.

Abhimanyu is a straightforward guy who take no nonsense. Majority of online viewers are used to confused ML who has no guts to confess or express themselves. Abhimanyu was even quick to question Arohi when he has always been normal and never give her any signal that he likes her and from precap he's now questioning Mahima regarding the confusion when she has seen Akshara picture. I don't know why people want him to be like previous season ML? They're all different, Kartik character was good in the beginning but ruin later and got even worse when he fell for Sirat.

Akshara comes with alot of responsibility being the middle child isn't easy at all she loves her family and put them above all especially Arohi later this might all change today it's Arohi later it's going to be Abhimanyu who she will make all the sacrifice for.... Currently, she might not be the most likeable person but let her grow and discover herself! Why expect her to be like Naira? Was Naira anything like Akshara? All of them came with their own journey. Naira had her parents with her and Maheshwari family who protect her when Naira was going to sacrifice for Gayu Naitik & Akshara took matter in their hands and solve the problem and Gayu is no Arohi Gayu loved Naira and back off when she found out Kaira loved eachother even after Akshara died Naira had her father & Naksh by her side here poor Akshara has nobody and all these goenkas including Kairav are useless they're busy pamparing Arohi and not caring about what Akshara is going through!

Yes I feel she will have to adjust a lot in Birla family too but for Abhimanyu she will do everything 😍 It's just change of priorities with time. If she can do so much for a selfish person like Aarohi, then imagine how much she will do for abhi who loves her unconditionally. In future we may see her as headstrong taking stand for her husband even if it comes at going against Aarohi.
