What did i just watch?

I saw today's epi after not watching for weeks, thinking that we'd see the chipkali finally getting her comeuppance, and was instead treated to her delusional rape-y monologue about how she just can't wait to get Kartik away from his family so she can get him alone and all to herself. Now imagine a male character saying this exact monologue about a female character who does not want to be with him, and wait for the outrage from the viewers. Anyway I now agree that Vedika mann ki buri nahi hai - bas mann ki bahut bahut bimaar hai. Mentally ill woman, that one.

Precap was interesting and for the first time I'm wondering if these writers actually had a plan in mind when Vedika disappeared for a month or whatever while pretending to be in the US. My prediction is she sold her kidney with Pallavi's help to pay off Akshat who was blackmailing her and spent the time in recovery. Which is why Pallavi came up with the kidney donation idea - which would otherwise be crazy considering how easy it would be to prove she had both kidneys (for instance if she got pregnant and had to have abdominal imaging) . There's a certain cleverness to this plot and makes Vedika's resentment at being pushed aside more understandable - if she first sold her kidney to pay off Akshat to preserve her status in the Goenka family and then saw herself granting Kartik a divorce anyway as a huge sacrifice, one can see why she's so pissed off at being completely forgotten by all of them. It also underscores how nuts Vedika has been all along underneath that bholi-bhaali exterior. Anyway that's my take from the precap....

Very unlikely though. Even if they are great planners, they couldn't have planned the exact situation of Niara requiring a kidney. I have a feeling she sent SOS to Pallavi and she arranged some reports even in this hospital. I think Karthik smells something is wrong and he asks for the actual and original reports, threatening the hospital, and gets them (as per one post in instgram)

Well, the writers could plan this exact situation... but I assume by 'they' you mean Pallavi and Vedika? Which is true - they couldn't. Instead they were probably opportunistic, either by Pallavi lying that Naira had kidney damage when she didnt (yikes...) or by just taking this as a lucky break for them (this would be the writers stretching the situation but they've done worse). Now that you mention, I did see somewhere that Kartik will get the final proof but I think he would find out Vedika didn't really have an operation when Naira did. My money is still on Vedika actually having one kidney to begin with - but given the illogical things we've seen so far, I may be completely wrong. They may just show Pallavi having a network of influence over all the hospitals in Udaipur.

Which is like so unreal situation because Pallavi is a young doctor(assuming she is of Vedika age as they are friends).. and such young doctors who have just started practicing don't have influence in all the hospitals of a city... but these writers have to keep the drag fest on.. and that is why they can show any such nonsensical thing

As much as I would have liked your version to be true, I fear our cvs have lost the “creativity” in their writing. They would rather just stick to the conventional “Ekta” storylines than come up with something different and interesting.
I am assuming Vedika must have messaged Pallavi before arriving to the clinic, buying her enough time to convince the other doctor to lie about Vedika’s condition. Isn’t that innovative? 😌

As for the money, having lived with the Goenkas for this long, I doubt she has financial issues. Even with the donation I was wondering where did she get the money from for buying a kidney. Maybe Goenkas trust her enough to not question her about her activities 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Lol that’s the problem with speculating when I haven’t been watching full episodes for two or three weeks! Didn’t know she wanted to give Naira her kidney - in that case I’m definitely wrong in my guess.

Wow that Dr Pallavi is one powerful lady - makes sense since she is India’s only all-organ specialist...
