🤣 Please show gods I think shivangi is beautiful dont get me wrong. Shes a wonderful actress...hence her acting saves it all the time. no matter how distracting her atrocious jewelry is or outfits...i still can still somewhat concentrate on her acting but its very distracting especially when the story line is bad....

Fashion forwardness is a good thing...But i think you should wear things that suit you...Like some people can wear anything with grace like ranveer singh...and it doesnt look bad... its part of his personality...but with naira what she does and what she wears dont match to me🤣

THey are torturing the audience and poor shivangis earlobes all at the same time...Like i used to cringe seeing them doing this to hina back towards the end and i used to appreciate how simple naira was...in comparison...But now i cringe so much when pics of her next look comes up sometimes we are spared and it looks good...but most of the time its too much ...like she will dress up more than someone else getting married and i get shes the lead but her character is someone who always puts others before her but here you have her wearing heavier clothing and make up than the bride...etc....

Hence my point is less is more...

I agree with you completely here. Shivangi is so beautiful with really attractive features . Her looks needs to be classy , but they make her look gawar and gehno ki dukaan. Naira said she loves minimal jewelry, but after her wedding they have always dressed her OTT. I Liked few of her looks though, only few. Why can’t they style her with class and elegance. Plus why do they have to ruin her hairstyle every-time. She has beautiful lustrous hair, and they really gave her nice hairstyles before wedding. I cant understand, Why they do this to the female leads always. Lead doesn’t means you have to look over dressed always. You remember her Kirti ki shadi vala look, and many more like that, ufff, i still cant make peace with those looks. Its like they are styling her to please the trp aunties, aunties will be like, arey aj Naira ka jhummar vala jhumka dekha, kya mast tha na 😅. Naira is a girl of today, go and see how mothers of her age style themselves. Take example of Soha Ali khan from or Kareena may be.

Look characters should dress according to their traits...

Naira after marriage just looks odd to me throughout keesh's wedding they were so loud with her dressing I had no idea what they were trying to do

Because i think dadi must have trying to be telling naira to tone it down🤣and not outdo keerti...in a sly way was telling her god ur dressing is bad go back to being simple...

I remeber each time dadi has commented on her dressing i think dadi's writer was trolling and being like please naira calm down

Lol yeah , poor Shivangi though :( . Otherwise her sense is good offscreen. But onscreen its mostly way toooooo OTT , both dress and makeup .

Shivangi dresses like a elegance when offscreen but on screen the hair looks a hair of the villain...the so outrageous dresses and kurtis makes me want to gag.... i wont even wear such kurtis or dresses whatever they are for even daily chorus. The stylist is so bad...that they havent heard of small earings...shivi can pull off big earnings but not giant earings ... which come down to her shoulders.

This makes her look so bad...she looked so good before getting married..

Or even after marriage...post this leap is her worst look....even in shubhams track she had such a good style with top and blouses paired with watches and braceletes....but alas...here everything is changed from writers to artists.

I find all the characters especially the women overdressed in yrkkh. Maybe it’s a goenka thing...they must flaunt their wealth with heavy jewellery and ott outfits, .. in some other shows I watched ..the costume designers have dressed the heroines so beautifully ...where they actually follow a theme for periods of time...e.g. similar styles for a period of time followed by another style . E.g. a variety of long skirts and pretty blouses for a few episodes, followed by simple pretty sarees with sexy blouses etc...

Haha so agree with Anya's post! One of the biggest wtf reactions I had recently was to Naira's weird sari/pantsuit. What was that?!
And although Shivangi is slender, she looked very bottom-heavy in that outfit. And don't even get me started on the fringe and the ginormous earrings... I don't like Kartik's pompadour hairstyle or waistcoats either. Maybe the stylists are trying to age them both? After all in the show about 10-11 years must have passed since they both met and they should now be in early/mid thirties.

but she’s also put on some weight which befits her being a mom etc.... not a critique . Just saying so more care may be needed on the styling. The point on the heavy earrings ..... it’s like she has light fixtures !!

Well she will be wearing Under Armour in the coming episodes. How do you like that? I truly want Naira to get a haircut. No more big hair. I agree with what all that has been said. She looks nice in classy and elegant clothes that are simple but sophisticated.
