Over the past few weeks I have watched 55 older episodes and am enjoying it. Right now I am at the part where Akshara has her exams but the schedule conflicts with the Tilak ceremony that her future inlaws have invited her to. It's so nice to be watching those episodes again rather than watching the current show. It appears that a lot of people are interested in watching the original show again. They should telecast it again on tv. I better it would get good TRP's.

I rewatched Old YRKKH again from the start recently..it's lot more better than the current mess..the stories and characters were lot more likable and better..even lead pair Akshara Naitik have more trust and respect for each other and stayed together through thick and thin..not comparing just stating the facts..

Akshara and Naitik were so cute and innocent in the first episodes where he meets her secretly at her college or her home..they perfectly portrayed the awkwardness and courtship of arranged marriage couple..also loved Akshara and Varsha friendship and Naitik and Mohit..so refreshing..

Rajan Shahi back then knew how to make good stories and characters..felt like a slice of life.. but now he has lost it..

I was watching it some 2 months back. I was on break, job hunting and actually spent many hours in a day watching that. Not in order but just some random phases. It was so so much better than this crap. Something very different from most of the shows. It has now become very regressive with the same storyline being repeated in different manner. Akshara - Naitik had so much trust and respect for each other and I really liked the way Akshara's character grew. And not just Akshara but both Singhania and Maheshwari family. From being a very orthodox and traditional family, they came around to understanding and accepting the younger generation's pov.

Yes I'm watching it. Again.bahahah. well .on the episode when Singhanias go to their Kul Devi temple by train. After this they will show Gayatri's birthday and Death track. (When Sonali Verma left) That was the most Emotional track. Show started losing charm after that. Gayatri was a big character. I love the original show. Always go back watching it. I think I will skip emotional Gayatri's death episodes and I will watch Anshu's marriage Episodes.

I liked that there were multiple storylines taking place at once and that aside from the leads the other characters had their own storyline. For example I am watching the introduction of Nandini and she meeting Akshara for the first time. Shaurya and his wife have their own story of their newlywed life. Then story switches between the Singhania's and the Maheshwari's and gives the show a balance. They also show some college scenes. I am not watching the current track being shown on tv and I'm not at all missing it.

There is a channel on youtube that has made a commitment to showing the episodes. Season 1 is the first 80 episodes. They are going to show 74 to 79 in the next day. After that with episode 80 season 2 will start. (television entertainment plus)
