What's next now?

How will the track possibly proceed after illegal marriage? Will Naira keep sulking in the corner blaming her fate or will she claim her rights of being Kartik's legal wife...I think Manish will insist Naira to stay with them and Suwarna mata will also be on Naira's side...KD-Vedika can plan and plot together...Vedika will try harder for Kartik's 1/2 love as she said "adha pyar bhi kafi hai"...but Kartik only loves Naira and will always love Naira...they might end up making useless Vedika mahan by showing her sacrificing for Kaira and Kairav...

Next two weeks would be focussed on Kairav’s surgery I guess. After that he would be taken to Goenka Villa, where he would insist for Naira and Kartik to stay together for him.

If Kartik-Vedika’s wedding is considered legal, they would probably show Vedika getting jealous of Kartik and Naira’s proximity.

However, if Kartik and Vedika’s marriage is considered legal, that means Kartik and Naira aren’t married anymore. They won’t show two wives living under the same roof. Now if Kaira aren’t married, and Kartik is married to Vedika, idk how they would show Kaira potentially reuniting in the future? Kartik would have to divorce Vedika, etc.

That’s just seems extremely messy. Like would Naira be shown as the other woman in Kartik’s life? Would they be willing to show Kaira dreaming about each other or falling in each other while Kartik is married to another woman! Isn’t that just cheap?

Don’t forget Kairav is still in the picture.

It’s extremely difficult to picture a storyline with Kartik married to Vedika. Either they would declare the marriage invalid, if not, then it’s gonna be Kartik and Naira’s story from this point forward, not Kaira’s.

I’m highly confused with naira...does she want karthik or not. The whole reason for her hiding away is because she does not want him anymore after he questioned her fidelity. And that hasn’t changed..karthik indeed did doubt her for a moment ..so I’m not sure what logical reason can they now give for their reunion. Naira did not even want to reunite with him for kairav.. but anyway yrkkh and the behaviour of the whole goenka family...naira included lacks logic.. so kaira will reunite without any valid reason for their long separation 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Indira actually from what they showed in the initial weeks, Naira did decide to go back to Kartik for the sake of their baby. She ran away because she saw Kartik arguing with MK despite thinking she's dead. So according to her, she chose this life because she was scared that Kartik would question Kairav's paternity, not because she didn't want to forgive Kartik.

In the weeks after that, they just used Naira to prolong the track. It doesn't seem like she cares about Kartik questioning the paternity anymore, because he clearly feels a connection with Kairav. I guess now they are just showing that she doesn't want him to find out about her being alive because he is ready to move on.

Her reasoning is bizarre but to answer your question, I guess they would just show that love conquers all and that everything was a misunderstanding, starting from Naira thinking that Kartik still doubted her or that he had stopped loving her.

He did question her character but they can always make Kartik apologize profusely for what he did and narrate all the events that led to him doubting her for a second.

Kartik questioning Naira was wrong. Naira running away with the kid was long. Two wrongs don't make a right but that's how it works in ITV series. Both have done things which can't be forgiven, especially Naira, so I guess the best thing would be for the cvs to show them starting afresh, from a blank slate without any promises this time or lectures on how much they love each other.

Also, people might disagree with me here, but I personally think Naira has lost her right to remain angry at Kartik for what he did because what she did is 100 times worse. She punished him for 5 damn years, made him think she was dead and didn't even tell him about his son's existence. He had a moment of weakness but she had 5 years to fix her mistakes but she chose to make him suffer.

Apparently Kartik would be mad at her after he sees her but she deserves all the hate she would get now, be it from Kartik or the rest of the family members.

The only feasible and logical thing they can show is announcing vedika-karthik marriage as illegal, because of course it's only been 5 years of kaira being apart and they are not divorced, otherwise if they show that vedika-karthik marriage is legal, neither would it make sense and it would make kaira getting back together more complicated and ekta kapoor-ish.

The logical reason would be karthik telling her he realised he was wrong and that she was innocent and there's also kairav's innocence so either of these reasons or both are easy reasons for them to reunite.

The fact is Naira regardless of how unfair she has been is still Kartik's legally wedded wife...as per Indian laws or as per laws of any other country...Kartik has choice to divorce her again and than get remarried to Vedika...but pathetic dkp is capable of making mockery of laws, religion and marriage...BV mostly does this...she mostly end up justifying one of them only...Naira's character was ruined beyond repair to pave way for this remarriage...as marriage was decided long back(that's true)...BV wrote it all very cleverly...Kartik's action of staying married to Vedika as he will feel betrayed by Naira will be justified...that's the reason maybe people will accept Vedika...as what Naira did is beyond inhumane...she became the villain...tortured him for 5 years...she deserves the punishment...not his remarriage but his hatred will be her biggest punishment...

Naira the character definitely deserves Kartik's hatred or family's hatred...but trp viewers will sympathize with her...

I think the only way to fix this mess of a storyline is to have Kaira die in an accident and to show a rebirth and start the story over again where they have no memory of their past life. No Goenka's and no Singhania's just two kids being born in a hospital. (a boy and a girl) How they grow up in separate households and meet as young adults.

Karthik has clearly told his dad that he will love naira forever ,..so I can’t see them not reuniting ...but as for the future,..what more can they show for kaira...they’ve been through everything...marriage , infertility problems, family problems, divorce, health issues, remarriage, death of their first child, trust issues, separation, illness of their second child ...I don’t think they can show kaira having any more problems as they’ve had enough..they need to finally lead a happy life now. but the trps of the show are great ..it’s tops on tv,..so obviously they won’t end the show..So is there a possibility that they will show another generation leap...grow kairav up..??? Like they did. With naira ...there’s 3 children now ..kairav, Krish and vansh...all boys ..So could the show be heading towards their stories..

The first track post Kairav’s entry in the house would be Vansh and Gayu feeling insecure.

The tracks would most likely revolve around Kairav now, obv with the focus being on Kaira.

One thing I would like to see in particular is Naira finding out that Kartik has been suffering from mental health issues after her death or something along those lines. I really hope they focus on that for a while because Goenkas and Naira need to stop taking Kartik for granted.

Also a happy pregnancy track for Kaira is long overdue. I wish they show Kaira having another baby and show the infant and toddler phase of that baby. I know it’s wishful thinking but still.

Anyhow it’s still early to discuss the future storyline. They showed the face-off after two months. Proper reunion won’t happen before another 1.5/2 months.

As much as I dislike the show right now, I still want it to continue for the sake of watching Shivin together. I hope they don’t take another leap for at least the next 2 years. Don’t want Shivin to play parents to teenagers.
