Dont understand concept of Baat chhupai

yrrr... yeh baat chhupane wala concept nahi samajh aa rha.
NAIRA ne chhupai for 1 day abt shubham's truth, she was sentenced for 2.5yrs , few abuses & one slap.

NAIRA ne keesh wedding mein baat chhupai for few mins because kartik ji mil nhi rahe the batane ko.wob bhi. she was sentenced for few days till diwali and also thrown out .

Frankly, i don't believe in keeping a score ki agar ek ne baat chhupai to dusra bhi kar sakta hai. But yahan par baat ko kuch ka kuch hi bana diya hai. Naira ne Shubham ki request par bas 24 hrs k liye ye baat chhupai. It wasn't like she wanted to become mahaan and fix him on her own. Shubham ne time maanga and Naira ne usey diya. Naira ko sapna nahi aaya( jaise kal kartik ko aaya😃) ki Shubham is going to die in the next 24 hrs.

One can hide as much talks as they want but the punishment is rendered according to the consequences which the matter hid has brought.
