Disclaimer : I haven't seen a single scene of the eps, just read the updates. everyone is claiming what a mockery the entire episode was of judicial system.. what if it actually IS a joke?

I was starting to feel sorry for Kartik but I just remembered all the mean things he did. Specially the mud scene and trying to blame naira for the ring. I can't forgive Kartik that easily even if naira forgives him.
Naira should act like this divorce doesn't have any impact on her and I want Kartik and Suwarana to beg in front of naira for forgiveness.

How about Naira has set her standards of selfrespect low.
She seems to be ok with being disrespected by Karthik and SM.
She is willing to accept whatever Suwarthik says and even filed for divorce for SM's happiness.
Despite all these accusations she is still sad that she is now divorced. She feels she should have found a way to stay with abusive Karthik and SM.

Perhaps it's that indian culture expects that woman always be accommodating and self-sacrificing to keep her marriage intact. It saddens me that "nayi soch" is so regressive in thinking.


If they whitewash Karthik's mistakes then what does that say to viewers? That a married man can be abusive but it is ok. A wife should forgive such behavior and accept any false accusations against her to be a good wifey material? Suppose SM tells the world that Naira is a characterless woman? Are the Singhania's supposed to keep quiet and look down and Naira should just quietly accept someone maligning her reputation?

"Nayi Soch" would mean that Naira should be crying tears of relieve that the last few years of hell and heartache are finally over. She has now been blessed with a new start on life where she can follow her own dreams.
