It was a series of unfortunate events that started with Shubnam's dealth. I think Karthik just got overwhelmed with everything and didn't know how to handle it. He felt caught in the middle between his wife and SM both pulling him in opposite directions.

Most men if they have to choose one relation over the other will choose their mother instead of their wife. He needed a support system which he didn't have and to appease his mind he accepted his SM"s claim that Naira was responsible for Shubnam's death.

Suwarna is all about control and manipulation and she used this to show Karthik is her puppet and that Naira would never be priority #1 in Karthik's life which is not true. Naira became the punching bag because they wanted to hold someone responsible for his death. In their grief and denial Naira was an easy target.

there are things we cant forget even though naira seems to have:

Naira said this when he showed up at the flats that when the singhanias called him so much...he never came why would he come now...

+ Naira phoned him for days all the calls were deleted by suwarna when she was in hosp etc...

I think naitik phoned to tell him but then suwarna cut the call.

When naira tried to tell him anything he either ran away or behaved like an asshole.

He asked her to leave repeatedly.

In mumbai she was about to tell him about her injury he cant play victim and say she ddn try...

I do get to a point suwarnas shit made him stupid...but he literally cannot be this blind...

is this the same man who literally broke into an office because he felt responsible for nairas form not being filled in...and got her a place in an exam?

new kartik goes to the bath room falls on the floor blames naira for not telling him

(again how does this mean she doesnt trust him i fail to understand why should she tell him anything with the way he behaves with her+ he shows no trust whatso ever but expects blind trust on her side in him)

then goes and smiles like nothing happen at aashi👎🏼 this scene should have been left it was way to abrupt out maybe monday they could have showed it after this burglary...

kartik could have gotten a little nick and suwarna be like my son hurt himself because of u will u only be happy when his dead...and naira not saying anything and leaving. And kartik starring at her seeing she herself is injured limping. Going to her house and asking her to see a doc for her leg...and naira being like no...

and then devyani telling him and it hitting him properly showing him going home brooding in silence... for a bit...then finding a doc and taking it to show naira...and naira being like ok il go and kartik insisting ...

and naira being like after the wedding and him being like no...the docs going to be leaving u have to go now...and naira being like fine and no 1 being at home so kartik taking her for her appointment... and going inside with her etc...

@red he still doesn't know about Suwarna mata's involvement in distancing him from Naira...he think Naira want to distance herself from him she want to move on...she want freedom etc...which she shouldn't according to Karthik as if Naira is some devi who can never get tired of her husband giving up on her...if he look beyond his "blame Naira for everything" motive these days..only than he will understand where he went wrong...also even if according to his perspective Naira didn't listen him saying those words to Suwarna than also he knew atleast he gave up on her...why can't she do same what he did?...

I know ma doing all her shit has no fault like dadi also gets clean chit for all the shit she ever done. But imagine if naira did the same thing to kartik. He would literally run away and make her grovel for months how is it fair😆 i bet u if naira doesnt agree to go back to him after he grovels he will get mad and she will end up groveling somehow

@bold Poor editing...there is no relevance between two scenes...camera roll during Devyani-Karthik scene made it appear too over-dramatic and kektaish and if camera man's head was spinning while shooting that scene 😆...

After the initial happiness of the story progression dies down, you realise that Kartik is still trying to blame her for everything wrong. For her every question.. his answer was.. main apni maa ko sambhal raha tha... chalo fine he didn't want her in front of her mother on the death day.. but when she did return.. that day also he showed her the door, main apni maa ko sambhal raha tha. My point is.. at that moment he was VERY sure his mother won't be able to stand Naira.. so eventually he wanted her to leave.. whether she had told him about her injury or not.. WHAT difference would that have made?

Imagine after one month Naira had come to GV again, Snakema would have had another of her crazy panic attacks, Kartik would have again asked her to leave.. and he would have said.. mujhe apni maa sambhalna hai... naira abhi ke liye chali jaao. 🥱

Even in Mumbai.. he openly said there will be nothing in between them ever, what difference it would have made if he got to know what Naira was saying or feeling. For him, it was just his mother back on that day.. for him it was his mother in Mumbai, for him it is his mother today. So I ask, What would have Kartik done, if she had told him back then about the injury.. except for may be arrange a doctor for her?

He got to know about the injury yesterday, the first thing he did was.. blame her for not telling him and crying in a corner about it 🤔

Mumbai ho ya Udaipur.. aaj ho ya do saal pehle.. apparently her injury also gave him a reason to blame her. And for all his care and affection he shows once a week... he cared less if she had died in the last two years. Which is why I keep saying this two year leap was the worst thing ever. Six months it should have been.

When she argued that tumne bhi toh kabhi nahi pucha.. he had no answer. Badi mushkil se maa ko sambhala. how will that girl know that what is the perfect to appear in front of u or in front of your mother? 😕

It's this attitude which is so off putting about his character. Main.. main.. main.. It was all about him.. mujhe kyun nahi bataya.. kal bataya toh kya kiya tumne? Blamed her again.. You would have blamed her back then.. you are blaming her now.. Idiot hai.

He was more angry because her family thinks she can't dance because of him. He can't stand anyone blaming him for anything.. but he will continue blaming her for everything?

It all boils down to his one sentence... main sahi hoon aur tum galat.
