Trying to understand Kartik Goenka

Disclaimer: So, I have been saying this for a while. Kartik makes sense to me to some extent. But that doesn't mean I agree or defend his actions. I am just trying to understand him by making this post and point out various things I noticed about him.

1. When we all met Kartik he was someone who was happy go lucky. All for loving others and helping everyone. But everyone has a face they show the world. Whether it is a face that he uses to get what he wants, or his real face is still unknown. TBH. Then there is another Kartik we met. After the Goenkas arrived, he thrived on hurting his father because he blamed him for his mother's death. He would lash out at him multiple times never softening. He would use his newly formed relationship with naira to hurt his father. Showing his family time and time again how much more, he liked the singhanias then them.

2. Dadi told everyone he is like the moon when he loves u he loves u but when he is angry he turns his face and listens to no reason.

3. Under his sugar-coated surface. Kartik has some real big issues, his anger mainly ruining a lot of things in his life and his inability to listen to reason when someone tried to explain something to him. and only when u live with someone 24/7 then u tend to realize what they are really like.

4. He loves naira/the idea of her (I explained this before I am sure most of you read that). We all know he does. He swallowed his 20-year hatred for his father and pride and went back into goenka house just for her safety. He wants to protect her always and stand before her and trouble. But forgets how strong Naira is.

5. Trying to understand him now.

6. When naira was kicked out. He said leave for now? And flinched seeing her being beaten by suwarna. He could not listen to her then but was he wrong for asking her to leave as her presence was just upsetting his mother whose son had just died?

7. His love for his real mother made him hate his father so after realizing suwarns love for him and understanding her sacrifice for him (which we all think is bullshit) he feels indebted towards her.

8. He was disappointed with naira. For not coming when they were going to burn shubhams body. He wanted her there with him. Plus her keeping another secret from him when he asked her 10 times the previous day not to. Would make any sane person mad.

9. He has no idea naira was hurt all he knows and thinks is that naira on an ego trip skipped shubhams funeral. And kept a secret from him again. A secret that could have saved his brothers life. To him that is.

10. Him telling her to go. And her going broke him when he needed her the most. She left. His mother was inconsolable with her hatred. Rather than telling her to tone it down her anger became his as well.

11. He lived like a shell for two years. Not listening barely talking to anyone or behaving like a normal human being. Holding onto his anger. His pain just built up. His anger just grew worse and worse.

12. His mothers hatred festered as his own. After losing his real mother he would not lose this stupid one either because. To everyone the most important thing in the world is their mother.

13. Going to Mumbai not being with his mother for the first time. And seeing naira all he wanted to do was give her pain. Pain like he had been suffering with. He felt she did not care. He felt she moved on. While he was still there unable to move on.

14. He observed her. But like Kartik of the past whenever angry with naira if she is long enough infront of him he melted in Mumbai. His love and care turned back on in his zombie state. He forgot about Shubham for a bit and was able to move past it.

15. Then his mother came back. And got sick...and he became a child. A child who cant live without their mom. All he knew was he didn't want to lose her. he would do anything. The very next day naira showed up with divorce papers.

16. He doesn't know why shes doing it. Ending the only thing they had left between them he is hurt. He is confused. He signs it in his anger because he heard her saying nothing will ever be between them and it hurts.

17. He cant run after her or stop her. Because he is held back by his mother who handcuffed him to her paloo. He walks away but because his chinta was turned back on having naira long enough near him. he cant help but think about her...

18. He wants to talk to her. Craves her...even though the divorce is what his mother wants. Naira avoids him until the big fight.

19. He gets reminded of the pain she caused him and it cements his decision. Of leaving her and choosing his mom over her.

20. He turns hard. Harder than ever before.

21. He runs away when he sees her. Avoids her...

22. Because on another level if u see old scenes he always says when naira is in front of him long enough he cannot stay angry at her ever.

23. When the falls happens it's the only time he ever looks at her like he wants her because. He cannot pretend not to when shes in his arms. He cannot keep his farce up.

24. His anger makes no sense but he holds onto it with everything he has. Because if he loved her again. His decision and choosing between vampire and naira would kill him.

Does this mean I like him atm...Nope...

Well we now know that the Singhanias are 100 times nicer than the Goenkas -- i remember BD saying to Nani and CD that Keerti was their pota bahu and she would be showered with love. Karishma also heard it and said if only Goenkas thought the same way. So Singhanias are definitely nicer

But he realised she had not moved on and that she hurt her leg and when will they show that he finds out about ehr leg. they keep releasing these articles saying ti will be now..but when?

14. He observed her. But like Kartik of the past whenever angry with naira if she is long enough infront of him he melted in Mumbai. His love and care turned back on in his zombie state. He forgot about Shubham for a bit and was able to move past it.

Even that Kittu I could deal with but this one makes me so angry

15. Then his mother came back. And got sick...and he became a child. A child who cant live without their mom. All he knew was he didn't want to lose her. he would do anything. The very next day naira showed up with divorce papers.

What a selfish blackmailer of a (step)mother -- useless person who does not deserve a son like Kittu. So many dialogies come to mind here.

16. He doesn't know why shes doing it. Ending the only thing they had left between them he is hurt. He is confused. He signs it in his anger because he heard her saying nothing will ever be between them and it hurts.

Yes and how and when will he know why she is doing it -- that Swarna😡 who knows everything because she heard Naira in the hospital will never tell him
