I understand Naira's journey post leap.. she might be wrong or right in whatever decisions she has taken.. but I understand that she thinks from her heart and there is a consistency in her thoughts. Her emotions also changed with how Kartik behaved with her.. if he was calm with her, she would be calm too, if he was angry with her, she would be angry too. Her behaviour is generally a reaction to his mood swings. And yet, she tried to keep her life together in whatever ways she could. The decisions she has taken seemed gradual and not weird or sudden.
On the other hand, Kartik.. I can't understand his thought process.. what he says, what he wants, what he does.. there is so much contradiction, it's super confusing. The only emotion he showed with consistency is - anger. Rest, every emotion has been dwindling like a see-saw. Oh, and Maa ka dard. Only CVs can understand his weird slave mentality to his mom. it's beyond me to be honest so I'm not going to torture myself with that. But seriously though there is something missing with Kartik's POV. Even when they do give him monologues, they don't make sense.. or they contradict to what he has done in the previous scene or what he will do in the next scene.
Like, he screams at her to NOT attend the engagement, and when she doesn't he blames her for being Egoistic? đ
He doesn't want to take her name in front of his mother so when she does relieve him of that torture he plays victim card? đ

I feel like shaking the writers .. to wake them up from this sad depressing place from where they are writing these pathetic tracks. Ugh!!
