6 months period...what must have happened?

So as we know, today will be the start of the divorce hearings in court, which will end in the judge delivering the verdict that kaira have 6 months to either patch up or the divorce will be finalised after the 6 months if they don't patch up. What do you think will happen in the court for the judge to pass this 6 months period verdict instead of just granting the divorce when both parties are willing for divorce, albeit only at face value? Will the judge realise they both don't actually want the divorce and are actually giving into a certain pressure to break up? Discuss guys for forum activity!

I think they would ask them what problems they have with each other and neither will say anything coz they have that respect for each other

So then the judge or whoever will be like what r u even divorcing for if u dont hate each other or manish or someone paid them to pass the 6 months verdict

Maybe also the judge can have individual talks with kaira, as well as a few of the family members, as the judge finds swarna to be annoying 😆 and by annoying I mean that she keeps interrupting the court hearing to blab on and on about her accusations on naira, and the judge sees that it is swarna who is the cause for the divorce, and that the actual couple undergoing the divorce don't seem to have any actual animosity between them, and the animosity is all from the saas towards her DIL. Taking this into account, the judge wants minimal interference from swarna so that judge can decide whether the couple really should be getting a divorce.

For the first time, they showed a logical turn..The judge cannot grants a divorce right away , whether it's a divorce by mutual consent or otherwise (couple badly wants a divorce) , 6 months grace period is given (not just to rethink but there are several other reasons)

I have heard of one year of living apart before the divorce proceedings can move further and that is usually when children are involved.

Kaira have already been living apart for two years so this extra 6 months sounds unusual. More like made up to fit the story.

It's not them living apart for two years that would straight away give court a reason to grant the divorce. The court would look at whether there is a possibility of reconciliation between the couple, such as if the court sees that there are certain issues and circumstances that can be overcome easily to avoid the divorce, and especially if the court feels that the couple aren't actually happy with the divorce. If the court isn't convinced by the couple that they seriously want the divorce then they can stall the proceedings and order the couple take extra time to think over their decision/ patch up. Any tom dick and harry would be able to tell that kaira are a couple who although despite being at the brink of divorce, still love and care for one another, so obviously the likes of law professionals would be able to see they have a high possibility of reconciling.

Lol i think them being caught in a hotel together will make the judge be like there is still a chance if they were in hotel room rather than signing the divorce documents🤣

Plus the little rat at reception can lie and say they were all over each other coz they threatened him to get back at them...

I like to see their mahaanta back fire on them going to save anmol and mansi and get fassaoed

I hope kaira get arrested, put into one cell, and naira starts feeling cold in the cell, and karthik uses his body heat to warm her up ☺️

Also, the family, including dragon lady come to the jail and see an unwell naira and karthik being really close and karthik visibly caring for her, which sets dragon lady's heart on fire to see her son cum hubby in the arms of her bahu cum sautan. 😈

Then when they finally are taken home, goenka's lawyer comes and says that court rejected the divorce and ordered that kaira have 6 months to patch up, and if not, then the divorce happens, with the lawyer explaining what they had observed in the office between kaira being the reason why they aren't granted the divorce by court. Karthik is embarrassed as the lawyer tells about his observation of kaira, and then when the lawyer goes, she starts screaming at karthik that he's acting like she herself forced him for the divorce, when she didn't (she compelled him for sure), and she says why are you showing so much care for her when you hate her, but karthik says that he doesn't hate naira. Swarna is shocked by this and asks him whether he still loves naira. Karthik is unable to answer her and just leaves for his room leaving swarna fuming as she realises karthik hasn't forgot naira, and even the family members taunt her by saying that she is the only reason karthik is going through with this divorce, otherwise he wouldn't even think of letting naira go away from him.

What @charu said. I think courts, even in mutually agreed cases, give 6 months period to reconcile. but I also read sometime back about courts waving it off so idk.
