I have never understood why everyone makes everything Naira's responsibility. The other day, K Dadi was saying the same thing as an excuse against Naira's further education. That if she studies, she won't be able to take responsibilities of the family! W*F? There are a total of 10 people in the house and a truck load of servants. Out of 10 people, at least 4 able bodied non-working people who can also take care of whatever household crap they have. Then why is everything on Naira?
The problem also is for any good thing that happens even any trivial good thing, the credit is always given to her. Always. And hence those people feel it's okay to blame her too. This just sets a disturbing trend and places all the burden of getting everything right on 1 person.
And yeah, Suvarna has always been a crappy character. She is selfish and plain disgusting. 1st she throws away her own son, tells her husband that the child died, keeps everyone in the dark and acts like she has done some mahaan tyaag. Then she spoils Shubham rotten and blames Naira if any small thing goes wrong. (during Suhana track).
Like you said, why is Shubham ONLY Naira's responsibility? Granted even grown ups need care and looking after sometimes esp when they are dealing with trauma, why is she the only one? The rest of the Goenka's just wait for Naira to fix everything so that they can enjoy the good parts. What Shubham needed was support and guidance from the family, not to be treated as an after-thought.
And Naira had many chances to tell Kartik. No matter what she had promised Shubham - drug addiction is not a joke. It's life-ruining. She shouldn't have hidden this from Kartik - the person who have time and again supported her and loves her and trusts her with all his heart. But I guess the cvs are more interested in showing her as an all rounder super woman so that they can do a blame-game track.
