Goenkas actually apologized specifically KD her tears weren't fake but their promise won't last long as Kaira will unintentionally give them reasons to criticize them...I would say from now onwards it will be mistake from both sides...Thankfully they didn't give wrong message that Naira have to suffer because Naitik took stand for her infront of her in-laws...Infact they apologized to start afresh...

Thankfully Naira didn't apologize for Naitik's confrontation ...reason why she kept quiet after being thrown out also get cleared...if she also started fighting for herself while Karthik was already doing it with all his might...that would have distanced them from Goenkas even more...also she herself hide the truth...so she considered herself responsible for the situation she faced...

Lastly, Kaira scene had their essence...that simple scene appeared so natural 👍🏼...having warmth, concern and affection...the way he panicked and the way she kept looking at him smiling...Shivin enacted that scene so well...their chemistry...

Yet to see the episode read the WU wasn't sure if the apology was genuine or not. Glad to hear that it was indeed a genuine one but like you said. For how long. With the changed presentation will Karthik be once again titled as joru ka ghulam and Naira blamed for making him that way or will this time Goenkas will learn to ask Kaira and actually hear and understand the answer they give them, rather at just assuming, or believe everything that falls on their ears.

^ Maybe I'm watching a different show where Karthik is also blamed equally can say even more than Naira. Show revolves around Karthik and Naira-Kaira and this formula is working for 2 years now 😳
