Kaira are considered to have trust issues whereas in my opinion situations they faced weren't due to lack of trust but due to clash of their contrasting perspectives.
When they left GV:
Karthik's perspective was he need to stay away from Mr. and Mrs. Goenka who were the cause of his mother's death. Whereas Naira's perspective was Karthik is missing his siblings, dadi, chachu-chachi even somewhere deep down his dad too which was evident so she tried to unite them. If she misunderstood her parents, Karthik also misunderstood his parents. The clash of perspective was there instead of lack of trust.
During Soumya's past Revelation Track :
According to Karthik his mom committed suicide because of Mr. Goenka and Mrs. Goenka's alleged affair. According to Naira the story wasn't as simple as it appears as a neutral person she has seen them loving him so she was capable of doing anything to make Karthik realize. Her previous attempts to endanger her life make Karthik dubious about the snake bite which had nothing to do with trust. Again clash of perspectives was there instead of lack of trust.
During Naksh's confession to Naira and Karthik watching the video recording
Naira knew his brother will keep Kirti happy whereas Karthik knew forcing his sister on anyone was wrong. Both of them were right in their perspective. It has nothing to do with trust. Karthik's words u and ur brother lied to us our family u kept us all in dark were the facts and Naira's words my brother is trying was also the fact. They didn't mistrust each other but they were trying to make their perspective right, be it by proving other's perspective wrong. More than lack of trust, clash of perspectives was there.
In these few instances it was clash of perspectives than lack of trust
Whereas in others it wasn't completely lack of trust but occurrence of complicated situation.
During Swiss track:
Naira accusing Karthik was surely due to lack of trust can't blame Naira completely here, Karthik's actions were hinting towards something going wrong but she didn't know Karthik use to talk to her father in actual.
During Akshara's death track:
More than lack of trust it was lack of clear communication or improper handling of situation by them. If in Karthik's opinion chachu told truth to Naira confirmation was must, even if, Naira requested him not to talk about past. He should have apologized from Singhanias before marriage as apart from Naira they also had the right to know the truth and if he thought Naira must have told them, than also apology was a must from his side before getting married to Naira.
Only time when it was clearly lack of trust.
During Dance academy track:
It was lack of clear perception or logical reasoning from Naira's side. Naira clearly didn't trust Karthik that time.
