Both Goenkas and Singhanias would be so much better off without these 2 characters. (Though then there would be no drama :D)
But on a serious note, K Dadi is a downright bully. She was so adamant in Singhanias listening and following all her wishes without any consideration for any one else. If she wants something, everyone has to bend over backwards to fulfil that. At times, she would show some control over her words, only coz she knew that she was "ladkiwali" and as per her, "ladkiwales" have less say in matters of marriage. Which is something I hate. I despise how even in real world, ladkewales automatically assume that their needs are above the other party.
Coming to Bua Dadi, I was supporting her against K Dadi till she said , "This time we are the groom's side." So her entire argument against K Dadi was only coz she thought she held more power because she was from the boy's family. That was utterly disgusting. I know people like Dadi and B Dadi are from a diff "zamana" but after living so many years with their much progressive families they still engage in backward thoughts like that. Though both the families esp Goenkas surprised me when they were making K Dadi think from Singhanias point of view.
Also notice how during Naitik-K Dadi call, she asks him if Naksh is okay with the simple marriage decision. If it were Naira or any a girl, she wouldn't even have bothered. Naira, despite of doing so much is still regarded as a non-family by her - as someone only to assign blame.
And whenever Naksh mentions his wedding with Tara, I think back to the time when B Dadi was so instrumental in breaking that alliance. At least K Dadi has some class. B Dadi spoke some very bad comments about Tara, her hockey and her coach.
Both these characters irks me to no end. In this case, Akshara's family was much better coz Ak's Dadi was a very sensible women and sometimes, more progressive in her thoughts than RajShree. The Maheswari family had their own issues but not because of any family member's bullying or regressive thought process.
