But partially Star Plus is to blame. Their marketing strategy isn't good enough. I am not talking about only Yeh Rishta, but also other shows of SP.

This. It's not just Kaira scenes...they have to show Kartik and Naira interacting with other family members too...

Most of all they should have good storyline...Instead of focusing on Keesh they should have focused on Swarnish and Karthik bonding and Swarna's child...Good storyline overall and character development of Main Leads more specifically is mostly the key to good viewership...

Shuddi karan was a good track but they wasted too much time on it, it should have taken only one to one and a half episode, like Rukmani suggesting, BD agreeing, SK puja starting and then Kaira sopping it but they unnecessarily dragged it through out the week.

Dragging the lead track makes sense because you get lot of moments between the leads and sometimes the leads and other, but dragging a side track is pointless

That way we get their scenes with families, both Singhanias and Goenkas

Yes a lot of people didn't like Suddhikaran idea, even though they were opposing it in the show.
Some viewers just couldn't take it in the positive light.

Yes agreed,

Kaira have had one of the best character development I have so far seen in any Indian drama so am pleased there, but of course like a normal human there aren't perfect, hence there is more place for development, which needs to be shown, and the next step of developing would be Karthik SuvarNish bond, him realizing he was wrong and how he makes it ups.

That entire week was overdose of Bua Dadi.
I seriously couldn't wait till that drag was over.
Some viewers opposing and more so them dragging did no good.

yess they dragged it too much a single day given to it would be fine...

above all people are liking realistic or more connectable approach and shuddi karan of divorced woman could be done somewhere but verrry few people might be doing it for same purpose that is purifying a divorce woman...Even thinking about it gives urban audience negative vibes...
