It's not the first time this has happened.
All that time when in India it was showing at 9:30, in U.K it was showing at 10, sometimes 10:30. That was actually worse because everyone would be getting ready to sleep then. Recently they shifted it back to 9:30, its original slot, during Kaira Vivaah. And now they moved it again. Also ishqbaaz is very very popular internationally, and they promote it a lot too. I've seen many billboards of ishqbaaz actors but none of yrkkh. When there's a singer or celeb coming internationally they promote it there too. That said, not surprised they changed yrkkh timing and not ishqbaaz. And DBO has got to be after IB so that follows.
Basically, during the 8 years, they've just been playing with the timings of the show.

I agree they are always changing the time I liked it when it was 10 because it was too late for me or not too early and I would watch it and go to bed, it wouldn't be an issue. All the time changes have occurred since DBO started because they wanted to put it straight after IB which is unfair for us and that is why we don't get episodes at the weekend anymore because of the new show it runs for an hour. I am an old viewer too I understand the changes in time it is so annoying! Every six months they like to change the times!

Don't worry about TRP.
If you look at Biz Asia reports (UK TRP), you will see that shows like saathiya and yhm have the most viewership (early evening shows) and yrkkh hardly had any. Maybe it will work in their favour? It's India TRP that matters the most.

Im just annoyed! They just can't stick with one timing. I agree that when it was yash rose wedding , it was at half 10. Then at 10. Now half 9, and this week to half 6. Its just annoying for our mothers because they think that Yeh Rishta has finished :(

Well the only.thing to do is that record it and watch it at half 6
