This show is ridiculous

The quality of the writing appears to have plummeted since the refresh. The emphasis on the OTT romance of the lead pair is exasperating. No other character seems to get a word in edgeways.

I mean it doesn't look like India is minding that much... 😛

And how many family members are they realllyyy
Meant to show. Naira still has a lot shown and then there's goenkas too. More than enough sideys for one show.


Each to their own. But the way the writers have written Kaira's story is one of the best written things yrkkh has produced. In my opinion. Such a layered love story compared parents fixing alliances etc.

But yeah. Back to my first line...

Well I will agree with you on the fact that the quality of writing has deteriorated. I'm saying this with confidence because I have been watching this show right from the first episode. I remember years ago the script was so fresh and well written, and now although it's not terrible, yes it is not as good as before. And it's not even about actors. Shivangi Joshi is no less than Hina Khan. There's just something about the show recently. Things don't make sense. Characters have lost their charm. The flow of episodes can be abrupt with random scenes starting from nowhere. Also noticed this with ishqbaaz and other recent shows. A few one liners and humour here and there is ok but sometimes they don't even make sense or fit in the with the scene or the scene would have been so much better without it.

Miss the episodes back in the days. Each character had their own story. Now they've been sidelined completely as the plot mainly focuses on Karthik Naira (not a bad thing- I love their scenes). I don't seem to understand what's going on with the characters. I remember when Naira was born, when they had a huge song sequence just to name her. Each character a special part. How much they prepared for her birth and all they did during her early years. I remember how they all used to fight and take turns holding and playing with her and all the things they used to do for her. And the same family members didn't even show up to her wedding. What a shame. Atleast Yash, Nandini and Mohit should be there. Still remember those lines Nandini spoke for Naira when she was born. I know Goenka's have been introduced etc but it's sad for all us old viewers.

Newbies may be loving the change in yrkkh, while the old and original yrkkh fans may have been more disappointed.

still u r taling the pain of watching the show.what dedication i must say 😆 u wont decide whos the better actor btw i m feeling pity that a show which doesnt give u any happiness now u took the effort to make a post onthat just to show in what level u hate kaira n actors for doing thr job so well 😆 n yes regarding side characters move on.they didnt every single side characters to b thr just to stand in the bg n hv sum big jewelleries to wear.in simple terms its called creative liberty n budget issue.i m sure u r not gonna understand.2009 n 2017 r two diff years.viewers POV,viewers age,viewers want everything has chngd.plus not all who has watched the show since 2009 r still watching it but they always need more n more ppl to watch n who r u to decide whats these new ppl ll want?put ur POV dont generalise it by saying how we r liking it.u r not any ultimatum to decide wwhat everybody ll like.

I have stopped watching this show becoz of unnecessary stretching nd disappearing of principle cast. This show is nothing but a costume drama no emotions and no storylines buy ppl are interested in ghoda hathi wali barat which is not possible for common ppl. No expressions on lead actors, the scenes seems forced. I remember those days when even simple thing had very much importance. But no offence TRP's t high so not to say much.

I can understand ur frustration since krpkab trp is 0.5 & yrkkh is still no 1.move on

Don't get me wrong. I too am a kaira fan and have no complaints from them. I just hope i don't get anymore bashing from Kaira fans. I've had 2 PM's already :(

I apologise on behalf of the Kaira fans that were bashing you.

I didn't see anything blatantly harsh/hurtful towards Kaira/fans in your post so have no idea why you've been getting hate messages.

Guys remember this is a forum. People will have different views and they have the right to express their views here. It's perfectly acceptable to disagree in a polite manner but bashing goes against the forum rules. Especially bashing in PM's. Learn to accept the fact that everyone has their own opinion and we cannot send people hate messages for this.

Agree with post member on only the fact of many characters missing - that is some lousy writing which is forced by cost cutting or other factors ...
