Taking into consideration all the views posted here:

I think there is no bigger loss for a child then losing their parents.
First Gayu was deserted by her real father and then she came to accept her mothers remarriage.

The parents are the pillars of strength for a child as they are growing up. Those pillars help to build their confidence and sense of security. She lost that when her parents passed away so she is missing that sense of security. She is seeking validation of love and acceptance from the family. She now considers Naitik and Akshara her parents as they have raised her now. She may not be their real child but I would say she is their adopted child in a way. She is now part of the family.

Just because she is not Akshara's child by birth it is wrong to say she is not part of the family.
When you say that you are showing difference and treating her like a stepchild which will make her insecure. A child that has lost their real parents always has an emptiness in their heart which is hard to fill. To compensate for that pain she is getting fulfillment by love and acceptance of Naitik and Akhara, Naira, and Naksh. Also her need for a loving relationship is to fill that void and she sees that void being filled by Karthik. I think the comments made about Gayu here are a bit harsh. Sometimes the child who is not a child by birth does more for the parents then ones own real child. To say because she is not their child by natural birth so she is not part of the family is really wrong and only someone with life's experience would understand that. (another parent) To say she should live like a true orphan is very insensitive, selfish, and really shows lack of compassion for other people. People adopt kids everyday. Do those parents love their child any less? No way. Look at Nandini. How much she loves Yash who is her adopted son. He does more for the family then their real son. '
The situation really happens in real life and to say a child who has lost their parents has no right to belong to a true family and feel fully loved and accepted is plain wrong. Writers are showing a real sensitive real life situation that people face. Elders in the show are saying right when they say Gayu shouldn't feel any difference because she is also part of the family. That is why they told Naksh that give same to both Naira and Gayu for Raksha Bandhan.

gayu is not normal simple.when she saw naksh n naira hugging each other infront of god a normal sibling ll come n hug them back n that would hv created a cute siblings moments but what gayu did was felt bad n went from there.i didnt understand what was the natter in that scene to feel bad about?what she expect always?whenever two ppl ll talk n she ll come in middle that ppl hv to talk abt her?plus gayu's dadi...shes so misguiding her.gayu has a habbit of doing everything half.she saw half of the pic collage n decided my photo isnt there.if naira had to feel insecure she could hhv feel it when she n gayu got the same gift.she could hv felt i m ak-nk real daughter n naksh real sis why i ll hv the same gift as gayu di..but she didnt coz she doesnt hv complexities abt relations.gayu needs to chill n stop pretending to b sumone.if she starts being herself n enjoy whatever she has she ll understand whats the real meaning of happiness.

No dout that gayu suffered a lot...nobody is saying she is not a part of naksh family...but expecting them to give her more importance than their own daughter is wrong..she expects naitik akshara to to love her more than naira..expect naitik akshara lives to just revolve around her...she want all their attention..if they give attention to their daughter she became insecure...

In the show yesterday did anyone notice that though Naira and Gayu got the same jewelry gift for Raksha Bandhan somehow there was a moment when Mishti pull at Gayu in rush for something.
In that moment something fell out of Gayu's jewelry giftbox. Anyone notice that?
I have a feeling another misunderstanding is going to be created when Gayu notices a piece missing from the jewelry that was gifted to her.

I agree that Rama Aunty is not helping the situation with her negative talk.
Her whole idea of bringing Vivan for Gayu is going to backfire badly leaving Gayu feeling worse.
This dadi is trying to create misunderstanding and a wall between Gayu and Akshara and the family.
What will end up happening is that this will backfire and hurt her own relationship with her grand daughter Gayu.


As far as Gayu's behavior maybe since she is elder to Naira she might be seeking the place of eldest daughter. For this reason maybe she feels her needs should be addressed first. Honestly I don't know.
Just hope writers don't handle this sloppily because that will only create more misunderstandings.

Why some fans trying to prove as insecure, A ques. raise in my mind if Naira is in her place then same will be said so for this it means Only blood relations are important & rest not either another person have done a lot when someone needed them, If Ak, Nk & famly love Gayu viceversa too love them a lot...What creatives are showing it's normal even insecurity & jealousy develops in blood relations siblings..What if Gayu is Rashmi's daughter but this girl too is a part of family, Rashmi & Nk are children of Rajbanna so with this their children too have equal rights..If creatives show Ak taking side of Gayu in Kartik's case then Naira too will feel same if somehow Ak doesn't know about the truth that to whom to love whom, then Ak will nt be blamed,So same way Gayu is going through with different set of mind & also she dosn't know about truth , Woh bhi almost Naira age ka bachha ha, If Naira has suffered she too suffered a lot,

I got the impression today that there was one picture of Naira, Akshara, and Gayu in that big collage. She didn't see it and misunderstood.
Whenever Rama aunty tries to brainwash Gayu she does stand up for her family and says that her dadi is overthinking this. Her dadi taunts back that one day you will realize that what I say is true.

Today Rama aunty noticed a gem had come out of Gayu's jewelry and tried to create a difference but Gayu defended Akshara saying that the gem must have fallen out.

i really feel bad for her..even Naira also felt insecure when gayu came ther life.it happens.agar gayu main lead hoti to sabko uski liye bura feel hota.but she is now kabab main haddi for kaira.

Here some fans saying that Gayu see half collage & misunderstand everything, Did anyone notice that Why she moved away from that place & Even no in the family made her notice of her presence in Collage in the Naksh family, If Gayu is feeling insecure then I must say Singhania's unknowingly something doing, Koi paagal nahin hai gayu ki wo choti-choti baatoin mein react kare, Jab dil mein dukh ya dard hota tabhi log alag view se sochte hain, She try to snub her dadi when she was trying to understand her that blood relations ke aage doosre relations nahin hote& one day she will understand this, Gayu too is a simple hearted & genuine person like others, She is getting insecure day by day not becoz of Naira becoz but becoz of circumstances show by creatives in front of her, No one has to be fully blamed for this

I feel for Gayu. I like Naira too, but she made a big mistake by misunderstanding her parents (more so at Akshara) and left without any contact to them. It was Gayu who was there for Naitik, Akshara & Naksh unconditionally when Naira wasn't. Gayu looked at Naitik and Akshara like her parents because she lost her parents and Naitik and Akshara lost their Naira at the time, so they took Gayu in as their daughter and they became a family too. Now, Naira is back, great! However, it would have been sweet if the collage had both families in, one with Naira and family and then with, Gayu and family pictures as both ladies were big part of Naksh (Naitik and Akshara) lives and both are Naksh's (Naitik and Akshara) daughters equally. Leaving Gayu behind is harsh and she has every right to feel sad as it's natural, I mean 7-8 years is a long time to be a part of a complete family.

I felt super bad for Gayu today! That picture gift thing was actually very sad! Yea they are happy to have their daughter back and YES they have every right to be. But the these are the same people who made GAYU the "everything" for what the last 7-10 years. And to completely cut her out and so much is veryyy wrong on everyones part! And you ever hear from GAYUs mouth is mami mami mami and Natik mama mama mama. She has never ever even once mentioned her parents ever not once. Whatever everyone is doing is sooo bad to her!
