Where are the actors/characters post leap?

I have been wondering where some of the characters in the serial are... I can understand Ananya and Ranveer... they probably living in London or wherever he came from. We now know that Rashmi and his husband died in some car crash or something..

But where is Nandini, Mohit , Yash and their whole family? Where is Anshoo and Jasmeet along with their kid. Why are Jasmeet relatives staying with Maheshwaris when they are not?

Actors with their acting skills are keeping this story line alive but really there are a lot of loose ends...

or am i missing something?

You are not missing anything. Lot of characters are missing without any explanation. Earlier if a character was missing for sometime, there used to be some explanation like they have gone out of station but now they only want to concentrate on Naira, Akshara bonding and may be love track or triangle between Karthik Naira and probably gayu, so there are not bothered about this loop holes
