Lead actors of Star Plus' popular show "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" Karan Mehra and Hina Khan haven't been the best of friends off-screen, and now there are reports suggesting that another cold war has started in Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Karan (Naitik Singhania on-screen) and Hina (Akshara Singhania on-screen) have been playing the role of husband and wife for six years now, but they do not talk off-screen. In fact, the cold war, which is very evident on the sets of the show, is showing no signs of thawing, according to reports.

The latest actors to fall prey to this quickly developing trend are none other than Umang Jain (Tara Shekhawat) and Rohan Mehra (Naksh Singhania) of Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame.

Says our source, "Initially they got along well. They would laugh and joke around. But soon enough, the two stopped communicating. Their cold war was turned nasty when Rohan unfollow Umang in Twitter.

Though the reason for their cold war is not clear, It's sad when popular couples on TV today refuse to communicate with one another on the sets. Will off-screen coldwar affect onscreen chemistry of this couple? Let's wait and watch.

Umang Jain is 'happy and relieved'

Umang Jain, the pretty damsel in Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus is pretty relieved and happy!!

Wondering why? Well, that's because the recent reports of her dating co-actor Rohan Mehra had spread like wildfire. But now, with the news being out in media about Rohan pairing up with girl friend Yukti Kapoor (the two were seen together in the movie Uvaa) for the upcoming Nach Baliye 8, Umang can indeed breathe easy...

Says Umang, "The irony here is that I always knew Rohan is dating Yukti. Rohan is a very good friend, and we have hit a great chemistry on-screen. But when the news about our link-up came, I did not know how to react. But I am happy that I am off this rumour now (smiles). I wish both Rohan and Yukti all the very best for Nach Baliye 8."

As for Umang, she is enjoying rave reviews for her performance in Yeh Rishta. "I have been getting an overwhelming response from fans on Facebook and Twitter. They love the way my character has been standing up against the wrong, even if it means she has to go against her family. People have been loving my performance, and I am happy about it."

Umang is also looking forward to her movie release, Pihu which also has Rajneesh Duggal, Mugdha Ghodse and Rahul Dev.
