Guys, Akshra is silent and could not respond to Naitik for a simple reason that after living with her for so many years and after knowing her character, if he doubts her intentions, what is they point in putting forth her view when it is known that he may not accept her views. She was hurt beyond her control when Naitik admonished her in front of all and said Rashmi is his sister and she should stay out of this issue.
I have no doubt that Devayani is concerned about Rashmi's future but she should also think unbiased about the fact that Sameer had waited for Rashmi for more than 5 years, there should be some credibility in him. Rashim was not a crorepati who would have made him richest of rich by marrying him, he would have got many rich girls without any added baggage. His name was proposed by Rashmi's MIL who had taken care of Rashmi all these years when her son left Rashmi. She is more mother to Rashmi than Devayani. If Devayani was so concerned about Rashmi's happiness, why she did not make any efforts to get her remarried in all these 10 years while Akshara was not there to interfere in anybody's life? If she cared about the happiness of her kids (Naman & Miskan), why did she married Rajashekar when Akshara made the proposal? I am not saying Devayani is negative but she is hell bent on proving Sameer as bad person and Akshara as wrong. She was more concerned for her husband's silence and disbelief in her for the last 2 days (current husband) and she thinks Akshara should taste that fruit for disobeying her. What a logic.
When Naksh and Neira are sure that their mother can never support a wrong person, why didn't naitik & co thought of it for a second before gearing up on her? Forget about Devayani as she had not lived with Akshara for long but atleast Naitik, his father, Bhabimaa & Nandini should have cut some slacks for her and waited for her or Sameer's answer.
They should have atleast had a little common sense that had he been wrong (Sameer ) and with ulterior motive to marry Rashmi for her money, why the hell he will diminish that chance by slapping her daughter a before the wedding? that too when he is aware that devayani is waiting for an opportunity to stop the marriage?
Every one were on Akshra questioning what she would have done if it were Neira in place of Gayu? I will tell you the answer. She would have first questioned Neira what she did to make him slap her? the she would have questioned Sameer for not controlling his anger and for slapping a girl but she would have questioned both the parties and would not have passed a judgment without giving an opportunity to the other person to even justify his action.
