Hina Khan a.k.a Akshara initially rejected the role of Pragya in KumkumBhagya due to her committment towards Yeh Rishta Kya Kehalata Hai !

Hina Khan a.k.a Akshara (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehalata Hai) was approached for the lead role of Pragya in ZeeTv's Kumkumbhagya by Balaji Telefilms.But Hina Khan rejected the offer as she didnt want to leave her current longest running popular series "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehalata Hai" on StarPlus.She said "Yeh Rishta...is always my first love and i cant leave the show midway.Even after six years of its launch,the show is still ruling the TRP charts and it is still loved by the masses".
