I agree that Naitik should not be put in the spot to have to help Devyani or like her in any way. After all he was not the one to bring her into the family and more so he was against it. He does not have to even smile or be friendly (that's what he has been doing)

HOWEVER,

I think Devyani should ALSO not be expected to even acknowledge Naitik's existence but only be concerned about her husband. She should also not be expected to do anything for Naksh (tutoring, making snacks, baby sitting) . She can do things for Akshara though because Akshara has given her the respect of a mother-in-law. Akshara is not overdoing anything but just having a human empathy for Devyani because Akshara knows what it is like to lose a child.

Simple, it's a give and take world

Why is it ok for a woman to accept her step children but its not ok for a man to accept his step children?

Honestly speaking, I can bet that once Raj banna finds out about Muskan and Naman, he will happiliy accept them. Now Naitik is an another story, he will continue to whine even after Naksh grows up, has children and grand children

I think again devyani will land in trouble and akshi will come to her rescue and even take the initiative of telling the family the truth

Devyaani meeting Naman in the lift happend by accident but it made her happy so she shared it with Akshara because there is no one to talk or support her in ss other then Akshara. Akshara as another mother understood her happiness and supported her. There is nothing wrong in that. Akshara can't just say don't talk to me or forget aboit them because a mother can't just wright off her kids, specially when they are almost front of her.

Devyaani wants to forget about her kids so there is no problem creats in singhania family but her motherly side can't just wipe off her kids like this. She is in a confused situation. Naitik's behaviour putting her in such situations where she feeling like she have to choose either her kids or her new family. I'm not a mother yet so I won't understand what she is going through but as a women I can feel her pain.

true! Other people's problem alwas become Singhania's problem and when it came to Devyaani they don't want to get involved.

I agree with you. Yesterday's scene was not intentional. It was an impromptu response from a happy mother. I know Devyani is hurting from inside as a mother but she is the only one who has powers to heal that wound.
I want that strong original Devyani back who gave it back to bhabhimaa when required. Cv's are you listening.

Devyani may be sharing her happiness with akshi but what I want to say is that if akshi has to make devyani strong or even Devyani wants to be genuinely strong and forget her past she should not think of her children ( although that's not possible for a mother)

My only bone of contention is why Devyani is not revealing the truth to Rajshekhar. No matter what Naitik thinks, no matter what Akshara says. If she has intention of to be fair with her kids and her current husband then she should not care what others think and just say the truth.

Regarding Devyani accepting Naitik and Rashmi, Then my point is it was never forced down her throat to accept them. She did at her own free will. That's her greatness or goodness.

Till a day before Devyani's marriage no one was aware about her having kids. She was truthful to them about it and they accepted her knowing that she don't have any connection with them.
Still if she tells the truth to Singhania's and if Naman and Muskaan except her then I don't think Singhania's that includes Naitik too will have any issues with that. Naitik don't want the mess just cause Naman and Muskaan have issues with Devyani and he don't want to get involved in something which he is not aware off. If Naitik was cold hearted then he would have never helped Naman when he met with an accident. He would have never called Devyani and informed her. He requires time and hope he will be given that.

Naitik and Akshara both are right at their own place. Just that they should not force their views on each other. As a unit they should come to some meeting point.

Naitik behaviour towards Devyani is completely wrong and unacceptable I stand by that. He should respect her first as a human being then as a woman and last but not the least as his father's wife. He was main part of the decision to get his father remarried to Devyani. So now is the time to walk the talk. Making faces and ignoring her is not going to help. So just start accepting the fact that Devyani is family.

I'm extremely sorry if my views are hurting anyone. If that is so then I will go back to being a silent member. Thank you.

Then how can devyani become strong?

so far cv's did show her as an strong women but sometimes some situations in life make us weak. Devyaani in a situation where one way she knows her current husband's kids hasn't even accepted her as a family member yet and other way the thing she wanted always which is meeting her kids and building a relationship with them is right front of her so which one she choose? She nust need to tell Rajbanna the truth and just forget about what Naitik or other thinks. This is what I think.
