Thank you everyone else for your opinions. I figured it had something to do with the lack of villains/evil characters but it was nice to see other insight as well. If anyone has anything else to add (that actually answers the question) then feel free to post!

many many reasons

Naksh/hiran chemistry

its simple story

no negetive characters.

each and every person doing great acting

great editing, costumes, sets and everything is perfect

each and everything about the show is more than perfect becuase the whole team do alot of hardwork and is dedicated towards their work.

Simple story... Easy to relate ur self with the characters .close to reality and no high voltage drama makes YRKKH best...

This is interesting insight. I don't watch the show very often but I've seen a few episodes here and there so I was just curious as to why it was so popular.

I can see the appeal for these reasons that most of you have mentioned:

-Simple story

-No villains

-No absurd kind of drama

-Very family friendly

-Sticks to its theme of how today's generation handles old traditions

-Diverse characters

-A lot of people seem to be fans of the the Akshara/Naitik jodi 😉
