Karan Mehra keeps really busy and there is no point denying it. After all, he works super hard to create waves as Naitik in Director Kut's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus). But he is someone from whom you can learn how to maintain nerves even under stress and pressure. When he entered the office of Tellychakkar.com, he looked all calm and cool and talked with extreme poise and confidence.

"It's my ninth year in the industry. I was working behind the camera and assisted directors like Ram Gopal Verma, and even designed the look of Amitabh Bachchan for an ad campaign. But then people told me to opt for acting and today they feel proud after seeing me on the screen," smiled Karan.

Karan is an actor who knows his profession well and has enough intelligence to gaze the elements that will keep him ahead in the race.

"One has to constantly evolve as an actor. It is very important, "he shared.
And what about his personal life? When is he getting married to his beautiful belle Nisha Rawal?

"Marriage is on the cards. We will tie the knot in a year and a half's time."

So what does he do when not working, "Well, I work round the clock. It's difficult to get time off. But earlier I used to paint a lot. Now I have stopped it but will love to hold the paintbrush again," he said.

Before signing off he told us to "keep up the good work", and we promised him that "we will."

"It was great fun being here. I loved it," he ended.
