On a more serious note, this is indeed a fantastic topic for a good discussion. Which is why someone like me who is on a withdrawal(from IF😆) thought of responding.

There were several psychology studies done on this topic & it was found that most people do FB'ing & the likes for social acceptance😊 It's a place were you think you can let loose without being judged😉 Easier said than done in real life situations, so we seek solace behind a username; a perfect hideout for bakwas...🤣

Yup di I agree often majority of people indeed loves to browse various social networking sites right from business person to college students to school going kids..😆 this has become essential part of their life as it's the most convenient way to stay connected with friends n families.. n main reason behind it as u mentioned is social acceptance or peer pressure 😉 Entertainment is yet another reason coz of which its consumed heavily like watching videos in YouTube, playing live games, or downloading movies these sites proves its domination everywhere in short, life without them cannot be imagined in this fast moving earth... But somehow I opine in an attempt to connect, we sometimes loose self respect. 😕 We start trusting and believing in people rather than ourselves and then later on discover that we are on the verge to somewhere loosing ourselves! n hence its high time we'll should get back to our senses and decide what's important to us, rather than loosing our defenses!! 😆

haan di divi ka ghup shup thread isliye toh itna popular hai .. 😆 divi bhai excel in kick start the topic n then after every1 participates, the thread reaches into another attire by our nonstop bakwas n imaginations..😉 but seriously it has become a routine gala time n only savior here in IF atleast for me.. (as it provides a relief from my g3 as well )😛🤣
