Expecting fathers need reassuarance

Hello friends, Women revel in the pregnancy experience while men are left out. I realized that they need reassurance and importance too.
I came even closer to Naitik ever since I got pregnant and this has elated me immensely.
Natik wants to spend time with me but due to Diwali his workload has increased. If I don't wait for him, he gets cranky. Once Natik came home early but I didn't know and had gone to the mandir with ma. He got upset that I wasn't home the day he came early but I pacified him by agreeing to go for ice cream.
At the parlour, some boys were smoking which made me uncomfortable and this got Naitik angry. He lost his cool as he didn't want anyone to hurt his baby. Naitik misses me a lot and I understand when he feels that my love and attention get divided between him and the family and now, even the baby will have a share in it. I assured Naitik that he will always be the love of my life.
I was shocked to get up with a cold in the morning. Ma had warned us not to eat ice cream in this weather. I had gone for Naitik's sake and was worried about her reaction. Naitik helped me cover up by sneezing and coughing with me at the breakfast table, so Bhabhima and Gayatrima thought he had a cold and ended up giving him a kadha. It was funny till he got it for me. Eventually Ma caught us and thankfully wasn't angry.
Naitik was pleased to see me in salwar kameez and teased me to no end about getting fatter and having a baby bump. In the end, his compliments and loving words about he will always love me, no matter how fat I get -delighted my heart.
